2-Handers are slated to get 1.5x or is it 2x to all damage their weapon does so this is where large sized will shine with the huge weapons. I am in fact thinking how to make a few large 2-Handers to capitalize on this but not too focused yet.

Anyway, sorry for that little off-topic rant. As far the merc greatsword + shield thing goes, however, unless you have Shapestrong then yes even Large toons can only wield two-handed.[/quote]
Barbarian using a Merc Sword and Shield is on the "to do" list as a bug/exploit.....so if your doing this expect to log on one day and find that you no longer can.

Have never even bothered trying it other than when I found it in the Testing Chamber...I dislike barbs and couldn't come up with a build to exploit it that satisfied me even when I was seriouly considering it.
I have better things to do than waste my time on a silly build based on a silly exploit that really isn't that good in the first place--like I was saying in my previous post, the weapon is just plain not that good, regardless of whether or not I can one-hand it.
I doubt anyone ever has, for that matter. My original "report" on it was met with disbelief anyway.

I am in fact thinking how to make a few large 2-Handers to capitalize on this but not too focused yet. It should be x1.5 and not only that, if you take a look at the spreadsheet, you find that mercurial greatswords are going to have 20/x6 base crits. And as Nataani once told me, "one of our script monkeys is working on the weapons" Anyways, it is possible to make a viable paladin style character with tho handed weapon, but that one deserves a thread of its own. The differences are in damage-survivability ratio, and as Vichya says in the OP, this build's focus lies in high exotic immunities for abyss, abo and other runs. Which is not quite attainable if you have to give up a shield slot and to high extent sacrifice other gear pieces in order to make up for lower AC. simpetar

How did you get Con 32 at this build ? Your screenshot shows the exact same gear I have on mine, unless you have some con +14 added on either bastion of Cornmyr or Corruption. I do got the same build aswell -)

I have +14 con on breach boots, but you're correct. Getting 32 con requires a +14 con item which unfortunately means you need it added on some item.

Hello, nice build.
I was wondering how this would work using Baseborn Titan (+5str, +2cha, not Half-elf, no LSA Listen) or the Fallen Angel (+5wis, +2cha, Half-elf selectable?) as subby?

It can work, but it means lowering strength a bit. If you want to keep the smiting then you have to start with 16 charisma to make up for the loss of 2 charisma from the subrace.
But the build is highly optimized to have smite and yet still start with only 14 charisma. With a different subrace I would recommend dropping smites and simply taking great strength feats instead.

I went with Fallen Angel as subby
str 14 dex 10 con 13 int 14 wis 9 (+5) cha 16 (+2)
Since i get Divine Might free (like Pharlan) i also get Divine Shield free and take the Extra Smiting feat as the free feat that opens up. So far it's working great, i'm still in the low levels, 37, but it's looking solid. I'm looking at the exact same build you've got, just Fallen Angel and that attributes adjustment so i get the 25cha for Great Smiting (since Pharlan gets +4 to cha). Good damage and tanking. I critted for 750 with smite evil a while back, and the Pulse Attack Smite thing is doing 400 or so, pretty sweet. Thanks a lot for the build, so far it's been really fun to play. I'll post at a later day saying how this version went in LLs.
Cheers.

Any thing you would change here? I had an older Mish build with this class split so I am wondering if this is better to rein to?

The build as it is is still viable and a solid strength tank.
For my paladin I changed the build to a charisma based rapier smiter using the same class distribution.
