Never had this issue before until the last day or so. I use Google Chrome now and it keeps blocking the same "potentially dangerous" ad. I love Chrome, but something is definitely not right.

It pops up every time I refresh or go to a new page.

Have you checked your LAN settings for a proxy server?
I got that once from Google search bar malware.

Have you checked your LAN settings for a proxy server? I got that once from Google search bar malware. Considering it's happening on both my desktop (ethernet) and laptop (wireless) it might be my router..but..just thought I'd post in case

I used to get the same popup as Stryker before I installed AdBlock. I just assumed that whoever created the ad sucked at programming Flash.

Adblock plus and NoScript for firefox, that's the ticket, I get ZERO ads and no malicious scripts, it's also a good idea to Uninstall anything Java and unplug from the internet when trying to clean your system of viruses, then run your AV,Malwarebytes, Spyware remover and a registry cleaner for several days to make sure all traces are gone, I had a similar problem several years ago and kept getting reports of viruses adware etc for several days after removing the main offending virus (DownAdup), Java, and disconnected from the internet, finally after about the 4th day was getting no more instances and still ran all the tools again to be double sure, Then I installed a highly recommended firewall: "Online Armor" (rated 100% leak proof) and a good AV (Bit Defender) both free BTW, reconnected to the internet, and reinstalled Java, It's been over 4 years now since then and every time I run a scan; AV, Malwarebytes, Spyware etc I get ZERO anything ( I feel neglected sometimes! lol) one note about Online Armor, I have the version 3.00 for WinXP, VR. 3.00 does not support Vista (np for me) however I tried the newest version recently VR.4.00 which does support Vista and it went all crazy, nothing worked correctly, windows opening very slowly, NWN dragging like a dead horse etc. so I uninstalled VR.4.00 and re-installed 3.00 and now its back to the way it was, Whew! close call there. (Most Viruses find the backdoor through Java script)
