Mote is very flexible just Parry Prowess is best option currently having 120+ Parry is very handy as a defensive tank.

One thing I have found leveling this build from scratch in HC mode is that sling makes a good weapon choice till you get weapon finesse and can start to hit stuff with your kukri. Sling works good because you can direct your army of animal minions from a safe distance.

Good advice I think I may have used some ranged on mine when I played it in lowbies. While I like the choice I made of the Kukri I think it is worth noting that there are plenty of other options if one wants to drop exotic proficiency.

Just for practical purposes I modified the posted build to drop Exotic Weapon Prof & Greater Ruin along with not specifying a weapon shuffled some feats and picked up 2 more Great Dexterity feats. I am not sure how many time Greater Ruin was ever successful for my build and the exotic prof while fun does make feats tighter. I might actually reinc to a different weapon and follow what I have posted at some point as I have finally started gaming again just not gotten back into HG yet.

Greater Ruin will hit like a wet noodle on this type of build, now that it no longer scales with CL but rather primary casting stat. Sickle reigns supreme for SL (kinda). 19-20/x3 slashing damage on a simple weapon that's eligible for finesse and intuitive fighting, and can be easily dual wielded (not recommended for SL though, especially on secret subrace).

When did Greater Ruin change I think when I was last playing it was still CL based so many battle clerics and still had it.

When did Greater Ruin change I think when I was last playing it was still CL based so many battle clerics and still had it. 2020-12-01: -Greater Ruin: DC has been changed as follows: 30 + caster ability modifier + 1 per each Epic, Legendary, and Paragon Spell Focus Feat, +1 if the character has a school specialization Absolutely not worth it on SLs, BCs, turners (it's wis-based, not cha), and generally all builds that need to go out of their way to afford it.

Found some things I missed and reworked a few more detail plus added some notes.
I am playing with fitting in some points for Hide instead of Heal but it depends will Camo/Mass Camo spells ignore Hide skill and always use the 40%+ 1% per 2 CL over 40? This caps my build at 47% (48% w/ Ego) however with a Hide dump of 43 this build would see a concealment from those spells of 52% to 58% depending on penalties. I do pick up Shroud which will grant 55% (56% w/ Ego) concealment so might not really matter.

Camo cast from other sources (eg POM ring, Links of Binding) or from another druid/ranger will use Hide skill to determine conceal %. I'd always look to bump hide where possible. Even at 43 base ranks you should still get close to 100 skill which nets you 55-60% conceal typically.
