New HGX is crashing right after selecting the toon to play and waiting for the map load screen

Sheinja has old data for Abo and Ely and moderately recent data from Abyss runs but we also have a policy that guild data stays within the guild and I won't break it. This I understand completely, while D is more about Sharing TM is rather private so I have no complaints about that, it would be great if we could get the data somehow though from other sources. Cata

So far totally digging this logger. Has made a big impact on some things for me, especially casters. Would there be any possibility of having a command to pipe the !who party results to instead of taking local area items? I had an instance where I was getting mobs and environmentearlier today.. made for a confusing list . I think I saw there was a way to determine what damage types you are taking - couldn't see this but maybe missing it.

Possible yes, but I'm not going to spend time on developing that. If you give me a list of stuff that gets wrongly added to the party list I will add them to the ignore list.

I will update the HGX files to .NET 4.0 Client Profile for the next release. This means anyone not having .NET 4.0 installed already can download a full version of it here or the smaller Client Profile here. .NET 4.0 is part of Windows 7 so anyone using that can ignore this.

Well.. for example, the mobs in earth elemental plains (Xorn, Terran, Stone Scarabs, etc) all were showing stats and timers for me with hgx..

Apparently mobs from elemental planes are not in Yomi's hgdata.xml, which is my fallback. If you want them in either create an xml file for them (you can find an example in the data/creatures.d folder) or send me a list of names so I can create that file.

I'll make up a list next time through (I don't go there that often). It would be handy if the extender dropped out a list of the party as it sees it (would be easier for us to report back on exclusions then).

I've uploaded HGX 2.0. As mentioned a couple of days ago it will need the .NET Framework 4.0 or 4.0 Client Profile. You should delete the beta version if you used it, updating from the beta to the release can not be done easily. The default settings have been changed to check for updates every week and notify you if there is a new version available. However, I recommend changing the settings to every time you start HGX for the first few days. I have also removed the component that caused some lag spike in larger battles. Until I have figured out how to solve this problem the standard log files are used to get the run data. If you had the problems Salek described (crashing with the beta version immediately after selecting a character) you should check the option in the Compatability tab of the Options dialog. I'm going to update the manual in the next days but here are the major features that have been added since the last release: -mouse controls (you have to hold down the Alt-key) -Aboleth, Abyss and Elysium data Most chat commands from the old version can be used again, the "hgx." part of them is optional now, so you can just write "!echo #stat.vs Asmo" to see the stats against Asmodeus.

I'm having the same problem Salek was/is having. NWN crashes after selecting a Char & clicking "play". I've downloaded .Net 4.0 Full (i'm running XP Pro SP3 32bit) & downloaded HGx 2.0. HGxStarter (from the 1st post on this thread) worked fine. I tryed completly deleating the HGx directory & did a reinstall.
If this helps . . . NWN dir - E:\WinGames\Neverwinter Nights HGX 1.0 dir - E:\WinGames\Neverwinter Nights\Higher Ground\HGx 1.0 HGX 2.0 dir - E:\WinGames\Neverwinter Nights\Higher Ground\HGx 2.0

Post Edit 1: I tryed doing a windows update & thought I had it when several .Net 4.0 updates showed up ,but no luck. Somthing else if this helps ,i don't see the HGx version on any opening screens like i did on the HGxStarter.
Post Edit 2: Got it Vichya ,Options - Compatability mode ,fixes it ,i can run 2.0 . . . Salek gave me the tip.

I uninstalled all previous Net Framework versions (there were many and some were large). I installed the 4.0 Client Profile. Installed HGX2. Set the 2 directories. Ran NWN. Activated HGX2, and have crashed 3 times now.
Using Windows XP Service Pack 3 (I know!!) on a November 2005 desktop with a newer graphics card and only 1Mb of memory.

.NET 4.0 is part of Windows 7 so anyone using that can ignore this. It was not installed on my Win 7 64bit Home edition. On that, .NET was only installed up to version 3.5. Using Windows XP Service Pack 3 (I know!!) on a November 2005 desktop with a newer graphics card and only 1Mb of memory. I don't know why you're crashing, but I think you must mean 1 GB of memory, not 1 MB. 1 MB is like pre-1993 levels. You wouldn't be able to run Win XP on it. I don't know how much memory Vichya's logger uses, but 1 GB should be enough for Win XP + NWN if you don't have a ton of stuff running in the background.

Yeah, the new version has started crashing NWN on a regular basis, I had to stop using it.

Yeah ... sorry; I have 1 Gb. The good news is that when I applied the "Salek" solution as proposed by Vichya, the combo became stable. Does that have the consequence that when I get inflicted by Ekolids, the 'red' warning will not appear? Muchas gracias Vichya. Muy buena su contribuciĆ³n.
