I created a Proxy for an old lvl 60 toon. I had the proxy talk to the light, and went to rips and talked to the bartender. Got a message saying could not flash back because the control classes weren't the same. Both characters were ftr/monk/weaponmasters 8/2/30. I'm not sure I took the levels in the same order, but I didn't think that would matter. Anyone have an idea of what could have gone wrong?

CC on both would be WM. Are you sure you used the right slot? Do you have more than one?

The proxy was built to have the same classes and race as the original character (both with 30 CC WM).
At the time I tried it, I did have a druid with some time left in the reincarnation week. In rips though, the script mentioned "Stormbringer's proxy", so it appeared to be trying the match up the right toons.

Do you have to take the levels in the same order on the Proxy as in the original? I just took the Proxy to the "light" thingie and then took the original to Rips for a drink.

No, you don't have to take the levels in the same order.

Is it possible to "restore" the proxy character so that I can give it one more try? If it's too much of a pain or not possible I'm fine with that.
Amazing what the HG team has been able to do and continues to do with this world - Thanks!
