Working on a module for some friends to play around with on a local D&D game night and I've run into a snag. Any help is appreciated. I'm trying to add a floor tileset over the existing terrain. So for example add the CEP grass floor over the winter snow terrain. I've messed with the level adjustment to 0.00 but when I place an item in there like a NPC he's up to his knees in the overlayed tile like he's swimming in it. Am I missing some trick? thanks.

Lower the terrain. IIRC -2.0 would make the tile itself equal to ground level, but you'll have to play with it.

The various tiles are at different heights - they can vary widely. Assuming you're talking about a placeable, just adjust the z coordinate on it down until you get it where you want it.

I'll give that a try. Seemed when I lowered it on the CEP Icey tile a bunch of the ice showed through the overlayed tile. Guess it's trial and error.

Also remember you're not limited to whole integers with X Y or Z-Axis. Sometimes that .01 of a unit is what it takes to get it positioned 'just right' If you make sure you're placing it on a flat piece of terrain (no bumps or lumps) and just raise it up slightly it should show up OK and still look like you're walking on top of it. To get a perfectly 'flat' tile to work with you may need to cycle through a couple times before you get a good one with no bumps/lumps in it.
