Does anyone have information on the true refresh rate (Hz) for LG, Panasonic, and Samsung plasma tvs? Re: I have recently learned most are 60hz, they multiply the number by however many times they refresh the pixels (or some such madness). I was surprised by this, because NOBODY would have bought a 60hz CRT PC Monitor 8 years ago. And yet nobody seems to even mention this issue for plasma! I was in futureshop and sure enough, if I do the Hz check by using peripheral vision I can just see the flicker - which is EXACTLY what I used to see with my old PC monitors!! VEry very disturbed, was going to pick up a plasma on boxing sales... I can't watch 60hz, it has to be 70 or higher or it makes me wonky.

I'm affraid you wont find more than 60hz on plasmas.
I was surprised newer and wider LCD monitors didn't go higher than 60 hz aswell.
