Assuming that I understand how the Auction Market works, would it be possible to have the Closed Auction Items listing show the actual final sale price of the items? So, rather than see the final bid as 100,001 (for example), could we see the actual final bid that won the item?

I am fairly certain that currently the auction system shows you the final winning bid amount paid. I do not know why anyone would want the max bid of the winner shown. I don't see any benefit to that so I don't know what you are asking for as it either already does one you want or what you want makes no sense to me at all. There is also the possibility I am wrong about how it shows now too.

IT does show the actual bid that won the item. I'm with Yojimbo; I don't see why we'd show the MaxBid, at any time. Undermines private bidding strategies.

Then maybe I misunderstand how the auction market works. Looking at the current Closed Auction Items, we see that restinpiece auctioned a PH for 600,100,101. So, did the buyer pay 600,100,101 for the item? Could the buyer have bid higher than that? Did restinpiece recieve 600,100,101 for the item, or more? -WSCraft

That price is what was paid for it the max bid was most likely higher but no one else bid over 600,100,100 so it ended at 600,100,101

Whatever he bid over that price was refunded to his main wallet. restinpiece received 600,100,101.

Right, then I misunderstood. I assumed that the price bid was the price paid (like the old system) and that the market value of items was being kept "secret." Thanks for clarifying. -WSCraft
