I'm currently doing a study on attitudes to depression for my dissertation. I would be most grateful if you could take 10 minutes to fill in a couple of questionnaires online; all responses are completely anonymous. If you would like to take part, you can do so by clicking here. Many thanks in advance, and thanks to Funky for allowing me to post this.

Done. I hope my English is good enough that I did not responded bullshit.
Strange, on the first part "Agree" is on the left, and on the second part on the right. I wonder how many people will confuse that.

In the first 20 Disagree in on the Right and Agree is on the Left in the second 20 Disagree is on the Left and Agree is on the Right or maybe I flipped it but you get the picture.

That's pretty standard in these types of surveys, to make sure people actually read the questions and answers rather than just hit the same one each time.
Other standard stuff includes repeating the same question (sometimes with a very slight rephrasing), random question ordering, and one of the more nifty techniques I've read about recently, where you secretly roll a six-sided die for each question - on a 1, you MUST answer 'no', on a 6 you MUST answer 'yes', and on 2-5 you answer truthfully. The reason for this last technique is that it gives people an 'out' and makes it much easier for them to answer uncomfortable questions truthfully.

Acaos is entirely correct, it is intentional that the attitude scale flips, for exactly that reason. A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who has taken part, between posting here and use of other forms of social media I am a great deal closer to reaching my target number of participants.
