The one character I've levelled up (a zen ranger), I rebuilt from scratch to take full advantage of the paragon feats, including changing race. It all depends on what direction you want to take a character, and merely picking feats as you continue to level an existing char from 60 won't necessarily give you as good a build. I may post it after some more testing, but so far I'm very happy with it.

Depending on my Toon I've taken varying different Feats. As for adding the feats to my Builds I'll do that when I get a toon to 80.
The builds I have posted will work as they are in any area of the Mod and until I see how they work at level 80 in those areas (ie. Better or not and how much better) there is little point in posting feat lists as I might change them later, when I'm happy with my choices I'll let people know why I took them.
People are, as always, free to ask me in game about what I took and why if they really want to know though.

Any power increase over 60 can only improve the builds for the current areas - and even something less than perfect will still be tougher than the areas were designed for. Once I can see what the new areas require for a class I will consider rebuilding. I won't update my builds until then. |

on my sorc i took PSP, PSF trans, PSF evoc and PSK evoc, i plan to take PSF/PSK illus if the illus para spell seems useful (when it works), if it doesnt seem worth it then PSF conj and PSK trans
in light of this would it be good to have seperate sections in the build forum for lvl 60 optimised and lvl 80 optimised characters [as few people will get to 80]

I suppose shifters got it pretty straightfoward, when adapting and old build:
Paragon shape focus: Wild
Paragon shape focus: Shape A
Paragon shape focus: Shape B
Legendary AC bonus
Paragon AC bonus
Free Feat - (I'd choose levitation, but a save is good as well)
Wizards also have an easy time:
Paragon spell focus A
Paragon spell focus B
Paragon Spell Knowledge A
Paragon Spell Knowledge B -OR- Paragon spell focus C
Paragon Spell penetration
Polymath

Actually Deso thats not quite true for Wizard. I had a 6 epic build (three with with ESF and 3 LSF). I took Spell Pen, 1 PSK (Evo), taking necro from ESF to PSF, and now have one last choice. Either I bump another ESF to LSF (Trans or Abj) or I take PSK Necro. +2 DC for FTS and Disintegrate would be nice - against a Paragon spell that a) isn't in yet and b) looks like its going to be relatively weak. Polymathy is of course another choice ....
As a general point I reckon that failing to take as much Spell Pen as you can for a caster is likely foolish. You dont NEED it now but sheesh its nice. When the new areas arrive I suspect that all the SP you can get will be barely enough

My zen has needed updating for over 2 years now, ever since the abyss dropped, but was initially delayed so I wouldn't lose all the hard earned tags from there. I've roughly known how I wanted to update it for a good year, after seeing the initial plans for level 80, and had continued to delay rebuilding it waiting for level 80 to drop. As it is level 80 and has finished the Pelor fight, I'm free to reincarnate multiple times now if I need without worrying about tag or xp loss. |

For shifters the AC feats are actually not very helpful. So currently many shifters are planning to use the paragon feats to pick up an additional LFF3. This adds a ton of power and versatility to shifters. The choice of which forms to take however has never been tougher, so there is even the idea of taking 0 paragon form focus and instead taking 2 extra LFF3. Since PFF only gives +2 dc versus LFF giving +3 per feat, it's not actually that big a sacrifice.

I posted the feats on my Monk, AA and Pariah builds alrdy.
I'm yet to decide CoT and Sorcs and SuSu cleric how to go at paragorns.
Pariah went pure DC increase and extra survibility, monk/AA went basicly towards more unitanks than what they alrdy were.
Generaly for tanks that doesnt have class specific feats, it seems that feats are something like:
-AB
-off stat check feat
-waterbrieth
-levi on str tanks
-great str/dex or lesser hell pen feats. 1-3x

Anyway if you don't like AC feats, you can grab the spell penetration feats on shifters increasing your "mage-ness". Shifters are DC-based character and MUST have all DC possible. (I'd think another set of forms would make me crazy as shifter, as the quickbars wouldn't be enough) |

I just find that this name misleads what the class can do, maybe this is a language thing. (Also I'd say that Monk 1 > Ranger 1 for several reasons). Anyway this is offtopic. I'm curious about what turners are getting in paragon levels, anyone got one? |
