Yes. Read the Reincarnation Thingy: Now he's saying it. Awesome. I know it's a small thing compared to Reincarnation, but getting to see exactly how many items I had saved in the chest was a nice touch, and a pleasant surprise! Oh yeah, Reincarnation rocks! Finally got to update a pretty crappy cleric I made a while back. Only have like 20 more immos to redo. ;D Awesome update, per usual.

So ...does this allow you to remake the toon i.e. race, class etc or does it just allow you to relevel?

The intent of reincarnation is to allow you to adjust your build to take into account the numerous rules changes that are taking place. Many aspects of the character can change, subject to certain restrictions. Those restrictions are lenient, however, so most characters will have a lot of reincarnation options.
You can read about the details of the reincarnation process by following the link to them in my sig.

So ...does this allow you to remake the toon i.e. race, class etc or does it just allow you to relevel? In summary (NOTE: READ THE FULL RULES BEFORE TRYING IT): You can completely remake your toon. If you keep the same Control Class, or the same classes, you get all your XP/Tags back. If you change both CC and your class(es), you only get enough XP to get back up to 40. You have to keep the same tier of Sub-Race (Open, secret, UR, BUR). Exception:ONE reincarnation can upgrade its race. NOTE: empty your Persistant Vault into your Transfer vault, put all your gold in your transfer account and put all equipmetn in transfer vault/other toons. NOTE AGAIN: READ FULL RULES. THIS IS JUST A QUICK SUMMARY! (NOTE 2: Please correct me if needed)

My question is that I have 45 points in Guild Events. Five shy from the magic number 50. Will these points transfer or are they lost during Reincarnation?

i got 2 questions...
1. i have reincarnated my toon and finished all through out the process, just to experiment i tried the reincarnation light shaft again to see if i could possibly re-do him after completion... it only gave an option "i don't want to continue ..." , does this mean i can only reincarnate the toon one time?
2. if i reincarnate a toon it would only allow me to choose a subrace of the same tier like say (any of the same "secret subrace" or the previous one i used) and not to reincarnate it as any of the "UltraRare Subrace", correct?
early thanks...

Once you have reincarnated a character once, you can REDO that reincarnation, by deleting that character (either !delete or Rowan Guardian) then remaking. 2. Yes you are limited to (at best) using the same tier of subrace. You can use a lesser tier - or - for one character per gamespy ID, you can elect to use a better subrace. By doing this you tie that 'upgrade' to that particular 'reincarnation slot', meaning you can't then decide you want to reincarnate another character with a higher tier of subrace. Just as a note, we have decided to allow players a single subrace upgrade. You may upgrade any one character any number of subrace tiers to any subrace you possess. Of course, you may not use a subrace you do not possess. This limit is by both playername and CD key. So if you have playernames Alice and Bob and CD keys 1 and 2, and you upgrade a character's subrace on Alice using CD key 1, you cannot upgrade any more characters on either Alice or CD key 1. You would still be able to upgrade a character on Bob using CD key 2. If you re-do a character who used the upgrade (thus deleting them and freeing the slot), the upgrade will become available again (This last part is subject to change; technical reasons may mean we have to bind the upgrade to the reincarnation slot once used. I will, however, try to make the upgrade switchable in a redo. Even if bound to the slot, re-doing that slot would allow you to use the upgrade again). Acaos I don't understand this part, do you mean everyone (cd key and playername) will get to upgrade 1 character only to any subrace they possess? And then you may not reincarnate another character to a better subrace unless the previous one was deleted ? Correct. One character only. If you delete the previous upgraded character, you can use your upgrade again. Acaos

Let me just confirm this - being I need to reincarnate my HD-White RDD due to the last update. I've seen talk about changing subrace to a higher one once per account. But, as I need to change the base race also from human to half-elf to get to dragonblooded I'm wondering if I understood it correctly and if that's possible? OR is it just subrace that can be changed? Thanks!
