Today is a bad day for me apparently to log on! when I go through the steps at game-spy and such, HG is not showing anywhere and the "favorites" and "history" shows that all the servers are offline. Is there an issue going on? I have even tried the nwn loader, and the direct connect as well. any other suggestions? And yes, my Internet is fine.....

I sometimes get the servers showing as offline if I click too quickly on my favourites tab. Have you tried direct connect, such as through ARF2?

Yeah, I tried it and to no avail. None of the HG servers even show up on Game Spy. I am truly puzzled

Have you tried rebooting your router? NWN is an old game and sometimes the connection methods it uses are not-quite-kosher and confuse routers.

I have tried rebooting thr router, rebooted everything repeatedly, unplugged everything.... very frustrating. I have a friend in town who plays nwn as well, he has HG coming up on Gamespy, and showing up on favorites, mine still shows that HG doesn't exist Arf2 did not work either. My final option is to narrow it down by computer. (I will install on another and see if it pops up)

Ok, both computers show HG as offline, I don't know what the hell is going on. Is it possible that it is somehow being blocked? Or maybe a local connection of some sort is down to block it?

It is possible you have a routing error with your ISP to the servers. It is unlikely but not impossible is your friend using a different ISP?

The next thing I'd try if it's possible for you is see if you can connect one of your PCs directly to the Internet without your router. That might help narrow it down too.

Thanks for all the input, It somehow magically came back. I believe it was a routing error.
