It's show time! Time to gird ourselves in our finest armors, robes, rings and gonads of steel, as we begin a steady, unrelenting HC push into the darkest recesses of Hell. Starting with this Sunday's Tia/Dis, the plan is to move down about a layer each week, updating and coordinating the times here as we go. Please don't hesitate to speak up if you want a time changed to accommodate your schedule.
All we need for a chance at success is a strong, united turn-out, and iron-clad teamwork. Everyone bring whatever you want to tag from Tia ~ Phleg, as we then solidify into a balanced party of our strongest toons for the push to the end.
If you have access to any MIA HC hellbent types, please let them know that the war drum is sounding. Let them know that it's time to grind the rust off the old bastard sword, pound back a neg pot, and come stand shoulder to shoulder as we put it all on the line.

Count me in.
Have Barb, Ranger, Bard or Wiz for the cause. Would prefer to take something needing tag, but they each need one of Tia, Dis, Min or Phleg.
Polishing my armour and sharpening my blades as I type.

Thanks and congrats to those who made it today. 3 new HC Dis tags, 3 new toons at or about to crack level 60, no RIPs. You know what they say: Any HC run that you walk away from was a good run. Any HC run after which you can still use all your armor was a great run. Good run guys! Next step down... Min. How does Wed, same time, sound? I've changed the subject to reflect the new time/layer. Open to revision, as always. Would love to see a bard out for this one! We can make room.

Should be there, will probably attempt to tag my Zen archer but can be flexible if we need other characters.

Jodicus was a staffmaster. Jodicus was a tank. A thousand times I saw him step in the path of Pitfiends rushing to destroy us. A thousand times I saw him lend his strength and courage, picking up those around him. A thousand times I saw him emerge, again, from the center of an overwhelming, seething mass of our now crumbling enemies. Today Jodicus was leading our assault on Abriymoch, holding the line in the face of a vicious onslaught. He was our wall, single-handedly holding back a terrible hoard in a narrow section of rampart as we casters dissected the Pitfiend, Fume, and Infernal Machine laced spawn that assailed him. What foul tricks brought him down? I don't know. It doesn't matter now. What mattered was his first action as he rose from the dead through our cleric's true resurrection. His action was that of a tank, a resounding strike to the back of the Pitfiend who had trampled over his lifeless body seconds earlier in an enraged bloodlust to crush us. Jodicus knew full well that without buffs his odds were slim, yet his provocation served it's purpose, stopping the Pitfiend dead in his tracks, keeping us alive. Had Jodicus been weaker, he would probably still be among us now. But as cruel fate would have it, Jodicus held the line, surrounded now, for almost 5 more minutes, refusing to bend. If the tank didn't hold them back, then no one would. In the dying moments of the battle, as Jodicus smirked, seeming to have beaten the odds one more time, a blow ripped through his tattered defenses, and everything went black. The yellow true resurrection energy was in mid flight, but never found it's mark. The Valkyrie could resist taking this one no longer. Jodicus was a tank. He was among our finest. He will be missed. youtu.be/4l7bE1HFBdA

New time posted for the next step after our Min/Phleg today., Stygia.
Let's also try to come out when we can around this same time of day this week, so that we can back Crow up in getting Min/Phleg tagged.

Although no one could ever replace Rock's "HC run tale" posts (complete with doctored screenies) you are surely the next-best thing, and with his absence ( ) stuff like this is great to see...well-written and hilarious despite such a tragic subject...I'd read it again ;D RIP Jodicus; and at least he enjoyed a long, full life of killing, tanking, and last but not least, farming, I will always remain impressed with the amount of time that toon spent in extremely dangerous areas, both in parties and even more I think soloing, a true testament to Crow's patience and skill. What a great toon from an even greater player and person...sad to see him go for sure (well if anything at least he won't get hit by a staffy nerf right ) Thanks a bunch for the runs guys, was great fun and loot as well (meh sonic flag was kind of weak though ). Not sure about Styg as I will have to check my work schedule, I have a feeling I'll be working till 9 pm but maybe I'll get lucky and if not then I can surely catch up another time...the show must go on! And I'm definitely all in for another Min/Phleg for Crow + whatever other toons need, helping the supremely powerful Cy'pres Zengul further her tag progression is certainly a priority for me now in the wake of Jodicus' sorrowful passing.

Thanks for that, Enius. I always want to hear some final words for deceased HC characters, and seeing Smiling Crow lose one was quite a surprise to me. That was beautifully written.
