I'm after a laptop (win OS) that can run smoothly Autocad 2012 and similar graphic programs and as a added benefit NWN1 and other legacy games; any hint? I suppose 500-600€ should be a fair price, never bought one anyway so let me know if I shall adjust my budget; what are the most important things to look at, audio/graphic card?
(Herc you can send me one for free once we decide the model)

Hmmm not uber with that budget but surely doable. Biggest problem of most notebooks in that price range, is the weak graphics card. Well weak is relative. A nVidia Gefore 630 GT (nVidia just because it runs better with nwn) will by far be enough for the game and Autocad 2012. If you can believe the system requirnments they have in the software description, it should run fine with that. Just see it has at least 1GB of separate video ram, and if possible try and find out if it is DDR5 and NOT DDR3 ram they used (double as fast and a good boost to get more graphic power). As CPU see if you can get an Intel core i5 (2000 or 3000 series). Ram is cheap, so 8GBs are well allowed to have . Something that will lie out of that price range, and propably has to be done afterwards by yourself (if you can) is to build in an SSD harddrive instead of the normal one. Extreme speedboost for booting and starting programms and usually less powerconsuming than a usual harddrive. The size should be 120GBs or more. In short: Graphic: nVidia Graphics Card 630GT with 1GB DDR5 Ram or better CPU: Intel Core i5 (2000 or 3000 Generation) Ram: 4GB at least better 8 Harddrive: whatever you get, best would be an SSD but that is out of that budget.
