Now that we have some sort of schedule with the -HC- players it looks like we are going to be able to do more hell runs than usual, now im not sure on the exact time of the run but i know that it will most likely be done on the weekend. So if you want to join us make sure your either checking the webdash or your playing on the weekend.

The vigorous HC Hells activity that we've enjoyed over the last 3 weeks has been amazing, indeed. From 4 person Dis, to 10-man Phleg, the party power that I've seen at work is nigh unprecedented for HC. Nice class combinations and solid teamwork are also shaping up better than ever, boding well for the deeper half ahead. We do seem to have a de facto "deep end" meeting time on Saturdays, spilling over to Sunday, with Stygia next up for Sat. Herc, if you (or anyone else) wants a specific run, please do not hesitate to post a time. Thanks to Acaos and Funky there are always plenty of pixels available for more runs , and most HCs are happy to support them.

Well I am a ET-player, and got very little playtime. Every other Saturday I am however free, and would love a TIA for my HC-mage. I will not play, or go any deeper without Tia tag, nor the proper gear, because I cant find my self resting-after-every-spawn-and-get-ring exhausted-midways... :-)

Yes, I think you are right Herc, you probably want some better gear before stepping into Hell. If you know the Hades mobs and spawn triggers, then going there from level 55 on is the way to go. Even though I had a decent amount of gear stored from preceding toons, it took my Herald ~6 months, at ~45 min/day of farming there to get well geared for the hells. The wealth of consumables that drop there will really help later as well (e.g. half-bios, DC pots, force cages, etc). Usually teaming up with another player or 2 is ideal, with loot split on a class "need" basis. Hades is very convenient if you are short on play time.
If you do not know Hades well (it can be brutal, with lots of disabling mobs), even the Desert, Uro, on up can drop outstanding uber-randomized URs that many could choose over Tia gear, especially defensively. It just takes precious time.
Either way, the Aug shop is in outstanding new resource. Probably the best kept, well advertised, secret for building your toon's power. You can adjust your gear to match your playing style (e.g. defense vs mega spell slots, etc), and easily fill any critical holes.
Becaue all your best, class specific, gear is generally lost with each dead HC toon, this power building process is a fun, and vital part of building any HC toon, just as it is, initially, for any new non-HC players. It can be a very enjoyable process, and makes you intimately aware of your toon's specific capabilities, and limitations. These vary significantly from toon to toon, even within the same class. Despite having run every core caster class through the Hells for years, in non-HC, I still find this break-in period crucial for each new HC toon, as I can't just go to the bank to gear up with my familiar set-up at level 60. Every toon is a puzzle that I need to complete, to ultimately give an end game party what it needs from my class.
As m4l4dl3 points out, pick-up Tias are always popular if you see enough on. Also, any Saturday ~11-12 EST, is probably a good time to call an HC Tia, as players will be mustering for the action a bit later that day, and a warm-up run with a good crew should go over well. As always, I look forward to seeing you in game Herc!
