A quick Reincarnation question. How do the restrictions apply when removing classes from a reincarnation. An example:
Starting: Theurge( 23 Wizard / 19 Cleric ) ---> Ending: Cleric(42)
Does that work? It is a change of control class from Wizard to Cleric and it has no new classes. The class mix is different because there are no levels of Wizard.

to change your class combination, you would need cleric to be your control class, so the best you could do is reinc to 21+ cleric/ ?? wiz, then wait 3 months

You must do 1 of the following
A) Keep the same Control Class B) Keep the same class combo
So your options are: 39-21 Cleric/1-19 Wizard 20 Cleric/20 Wizard w/ Cleric taken on L1 to lock it to CC IIRC
I would personally consider an option that remains a Theurge until your reincarnation timer is up and you can go to a pure Cleric or splash something with synergy.

Removing a class counts as changing the class combination, Mudeye. You would have to keep at least 1 level of Wizard anyway, so I would go 25C/15W, which gets you Divine epics and up to Level 8 wizard spells, and gives you the option of going "straight cleric" next reinc. Have fun --Arek

Thanks arek, good to know. Some combinations would be very hard to get out of. You'd have to to multiple reincarnations over many months to change a build. During the interim the character could be pretty useless. An example would be a PM where you'd have to make a Wizard with a level or two of PM for no other reason than to appease the reincarnation light. Then wait 3 months and do it again.

Not really. The only thing that requires more than 2 reincarnations is completely changing classes so that the new toon shares no classes with the old, and that's not really what reincarnation is for, tho it can be used that way.
