People will still keep telling you fighters suck!
** Alternate build option:
Take 8 points of hide ASAP and swap Paladin levels for BG levels. Whilst you lose innate Fear immunity your saves stay the same and you gain access to 'The Gift of Undeath' wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/Gift_of_Undeath yes it's not perfect in lots of ways but situational immunity to critical hits may make it worth the cost in some areas
