lmfao, that sure explains a lot and puts some informative perspective on why PoA was so screwy: the dev guy's solution to gold creep was to have mobs steal it. super lulz...gee, all this effort going into goldsinks, and all Funky had to do was just make more PP mobs to solve the problem!

Wouldn't it be easier to just restrict the amount you can withdraw from your wallet based on character level? Having a high level character, and a filled up wallet, makes things much easier for making new toons.
Usually I will buy some things ahead of time, so that I can equip them next time I level, rather than having to return to town to upgrade items. The thieves seem to love taking these items. Perhaps the best solution would be to have them just take gold, which is pretty much what most pickpockets would steal anyways. I just cannot imagine a pickpocket trying to pinch a suit of armour out of someone's pocket, lol.

Ah, thanks guys. I did not know that removing the randomization would reduce the drop rates. Yup. The whole reason we added randomization was so that we could hand out more loot without increasing player power crawl too dramatically. Another upshot of it is more gold in your pocket. Funky
