For those who dont know under the Yellowstone park is a supervolcano, you cannot compare a supervolcano to an usual volcano, the last supervolcano who erupted was Toba in indonesia wich had a eruption 3000 times more powerfull then Mont St-Helene what is not few. This can bring to a maga disaster all around the world Few months ago somes said yellowstone supervolcano begined to had more activity , but autority said nothing changed and no more activity was observed , but here new things was showed at tv news about recent observations. I put here the TVA news website page ( yes it,s in french but the video on it is in english ) tvanouvelles.ca/lcn/infos/lemonde/archives/2014/07/20140711-143259.htmlAlso like i said yellowstone supervolcano is about the same size as toba was, well may be a little bigger then toba was, if you wanna see what this can do if ever a supervolcano have a eruption check this video doc on youtube here www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5jcBWzB3nMYou can easyly find more video doc about toba supervolcano where you will know better the kind of disaster a supervolcano can do

To be honest its one of those things that's not worth worrying about as if it goes pop then we're all going to get toasted anyway in the same line as the big meteor hitting the earth. Get on with life any enjoy it as much as you can after all you could get run over by a bus tomorrow and then it wouldn't matter (at least to you) what happens in Yellowstone.

Well you say we're all going to get toasted, you would probalby say burn by the lava but the lava is the less dangerous of all who can happen, the dust in the air if this do like for toba can blind the sun for months ( scientis think the dust who was throw in the air at toba irruption maked the sun to be blind for over 10 months and some think this could be a lot more longer) also when the dust fall on the ground this mean this will kill about all vegetable life, animals will follow, then this will bring a modial food penurie for years where hundreds millions peoples will die, and the cherry on the cake there will also from the sulfur who will be throw in the atmosphère bring sulfuric acid rain, then this should not be very safe to dancing in the rain ;-)
But right if an eruption happen there about nothing we will be able to do to put ourself in safe
