Pre-emptively posting this run for my new and upcoming characters, hoping to get some others to come along. If anyone has any characters they want to tag to Nessus I'd suggest starting them off here and i'll make sure you are not left behind on the following runs.
Would appreciate some feedback or notice as to who can make it and what time is most suitable.
*edit.. updated again for Tuesday, lets get these fine characters a second shine at least.
Here's a thought and I know this goes against the standard -HC- playstyle but how about we actually get at least one of all the core classes A, B, C, D and tank as well as the weird and wonderful selection of chartacters that normally show up for our adventures in LL areas
im sure most of us would like to play one of the core classes, but im asuming we all want to make them with the best subraces (rilmani for D, HC for cleric etc) but for the past several weeks, we have done some onios farming, tia, dis and min x3, and also done phleg, styg, malb, malad and cania x1 and ive still not seen ANY bur book drop. onios had minimal party sizes (2-3) but the 15 or so hell runs we have done recently have been 9-10 toons and yielded no fruition when it comes to subraces.
The highest level Cleric and Turner in -HC- both 80 and tagged to Nessus are Fallen Angel, but yeah, I guess most people stray from making them until they have a good race since we cant reincarnate them (kinda makes sense in -HC- as much as I want reinc). Chain has found many races doing only Dual-Box, in fact every race other then Rilmani but its all luck really, sometimes you don't find any for weeks, sometimes you find 2 in 2 loots like we once did (thunderborn and zenythri).
I would play the classes that people don't like to play i.e. Bard, Druid, but most people insist on playing characters that are quite a lot of the time not very useful which means I have to stick with my sorcs, clerics, unitanks to make the run safe. If possible I would like to get a group of hardcores coordinated enough to start a new group of characters together containing the needed classes and level and tag them up together meaning we could do hells without worrying about say.. lets tag my Bane Knight or something haha. Instead we would have the optimal group with the right classes, this would also teach some of the other players how to play those classes giving them a better understanding of the game and their uses.
You took the words out of my mouth, I often think we're running rather than walking in -HC- as we seem to end up with a lot of 'inventive' but rez hungry characters mixed in with some incredibly sturdy/powerful ones ones that then end up running around as rez monkeys rather than beating enemies down.
