Level overviev 1 Barbarian 1 Fighter 18 Barbarian 2 Fighter // Conc 24 1 Barb 1 Fighter 10 Barbarian // Discipline 4 ranks, lore 6, persuade 8, and search 45 Harper Scout 1 Barbarian He doesn't take you by hand but the requirements are listed there. If you didn't put skill points into anything else and just missed the opportunity to bump the HS skills at level 34, can ask the guy in town to remove your last level and then proceed as appropriate.

Is true and the mistake is my own, just wishing was laid out a bit more logically. Is my first time to ever take a harper scout level on any toon. Perhaps a note on the importance of those skill points would have been enough. Have been hesitant to delevel since I am sitting on substantially more xp than just one level. However, it still may be what I end up doing

yah a note to take those sooner would prolly be a good idea. this has just turned into a cluster pluck. I had not spent any points for a few levels, to save for any that I may need use on harper levels. Since you dont get many points per level any ways they get consumed quickly on the cross class skills. So in order to get enough points I had to delevel to a level that I had spent points last. Was sitting on 3 levels plus had to strip an additional 4. In all this cost 7 levels and about half my hair. Definitely a little note for the importance of those points would save a lot of grief for others that follow. We dont all sleep with a monster manual under our pillows

Hi guys, i sitting in test chamber several days, and i have a question. I thinking to rebuild this set up, but i not have necessary knowladge. I try create tank-barb with terrifying rage and taunt simultaneously, and focus on double axe(because its looks cool) I have 0 dragon bloods or somthing like that. 1) If i whanted intimidating/taunt i really need epic skill focus, or i can ignore it? 2) If i get greater crit and greater wepon focus instead of cleave and (in the future) using wepon with devastating and overhelming crit, how bad that decision are? 3) Whirlwind Attack its only usefull to Wepon master build, or can be good itself instead of cleave? 4) In other builds people take epic reflexes, in this build it replaces to paragon dex check, wright? If i not take this feats how bad it was? 5) How important is Armour crafting? What i lose if i skip that?

On Question #3
Whirlwind is 90% wasteful on HG it is a single attack to all enemies within a set range and is a full round action so you lose all other attacks that round. If we look at a double weapon user this is minimum 6 attacks per round so to be any improvement in DPS you need greater than 6 enemies in range(5 ft for WWA and 10 ft for IWWA). When you add in many of HG specific bonus attacks and other potential bonus attacks per round from vanilla NWN this easily exceeds 6 factor in most the stuff you would hit will likely be insta kill trash for casters you now lost out of 5 or more attacks per round on the target that needs more DPS on it. So far the only time I use it is when I run through maps solo with some build that happens to have it likely due to having taken levels of WM. So it isn't more or less useful to non WM builds just a WM will have taken at least WWA so it will have it but the use of it isn't any greater for them. I would say some of the classes that rarely have it would make better use of it if they did than a WM based on the HG specifics to that class' use of it.
On Question #4
The posted build manages 61 on each save save which is good it takes some feats to boost reflex but it is a dual boosting feats. The paragon dex check is very helpful as the builds dex tops out at a Base of 24 so until you have 2x Demi, Lvl 80 and +16 gear your DEX maxes around 38 which will make you fail fewer DEX checks but far from immune. The feat provides a +4 to the checks for you making it like your STR is upwards of 42 effectively instead of 38.
On Question #5
Every 40 points of Craft Armor is +1 AC meaning if you can have 120 or more Craft Armor you get +3 AC after hell layer penalties and with gear and this builds INT you probably shouldn't expect to reach 120 under many circumstasnces but 80 should be doable. If you calculator for +7 (Int Bonus w/ +14 gear) & +50 (Song/Gear Magical Bonus) and account for a maximum of -26 (Layer Penalties) you get a net of +31 so to with 63 skill points you max at effectively 94 so you want at minimum 49 points invested to hit 80 under maximum penalties.

this build is outdated and should no longer be made or used even as a guideline
if you want to post a new thread asking for suggestions on builds i'm sure people would be happy point you in the right direction
this build is dead and should not be an active thread
