Previous suggestions:Suggestions were made in 3 directions:
1 - Breath weapon
- We can clearly see that it's damage is mediocre while the dc is low (even more so for a paragon character) - the damage type is also fixed, limiting it even further.
- The suggestion would increase the damage to make it akin to a CLd6 spell (perhaps the constitution artifact should only increase the elemental damage dice if it does 39 dice)
- Making it automatically choose the best between 2 damage types to offset the increase in damage (the rare situation where the enemy take both elemental and exotic are not worth the extra KB and chance to heal)
- Removing the cooldown would be comparable to shifter's dragon (who already could spam, did more damage, with any of the 5 elements with more dc). The exotic damage possibility offsets the lack of elemental choice (while the exotic damage isn't too high if it stay at d12).
- Is also enriches gameplay as it requires active positioning and give a option besides bashing.
2 - Wing Buffet -
- This ability has lousy DC (up to 50) - while a BFM/DSM can get values over 70 -[57 +con assuming a paladin/bg 3 splash] - increasing DC to match breath is a good option (DD would become masters of doing dragon stuff - at least compared to a shifter who is a copycat)
- Allowing it to kill fummes would give some appeal to xDD on several runs
- It should also lose the useless sonic damage which only generates kickback
3 - Removing the class requirement (probably a hak edition) would allow another class to be splashed (currently it's a tie between WM or Paladin/Bg)
- Looking at current xDD - we would probably see combinations of Paladin/Bg with
Harper Scout, WM, Monk or even Purple Dragon. //actually a purple dragon xDD sounds somewhat more interesting to play than other options.
