Using the special power on these gloves allows you to modify the physical damage type for any missile weapons you are using to Piercing, Bludgeoning or Slashing whilst the gloves are equipped.

Tbh, even the original gloves would be very usable and a nice tradeoff (not that bad for a ranged class still). They reward good knowledge (or hgx and fast fingers) by a lot against certain mob types.

Useful even for slingers and maybe to xbow rogues. 55-60 levels seems to be the way.

What level are they intended for? 55-60 seems reasonable as that's when you tend to encounter creatures with enhanced resistance against physical damage types although you could have a few versions going from 40, 50, 60 with improved immunes and extra skill points vs. the basic gloves which would keep them useful in the face of increasingly better gear. I like having Listen on them as this fits well with archer/slinger/axe throwers and in fact the Level 60 version could have some Listen points and ESF Listen as icing on the cake

I don't know if this is possible, though it is similar to what we did with some other (melee) gloves. I'll run it by acaos. It's potentially a lot of work for an item, though.
