1. Intended power level (55-60, or paragon) 55-60 3. The build it is intended for Shifter 4. The item currently used that it would replace [except in the case of usables and items that don't occupy inventory slots] This druid staff randomized and augmented. Seems sad to only look for nicely randomized druid staves that grant... Usually, nothing but shadow shield buff + augmenter of choice, in best case scenario something insane of course, such as ego.

Paragon version: -- "Zivya's Spine" 1. Item statistics
Base item: Magic Staff
Skill Bonus: Animal Empathy +15 8d12 ELE 8d12 EXO
Wearing this item will lower any Environmental penalties applied to you by 2.
Using the Virtue power on this item will change the Exotic damage type on this weapon. Using the Resistance power on this item will change the Elemental damage type on this weapon.
2. Intended power level (55-60, or paragon) Paragon
3. The build it is intended for Shifter
4. The item currently used that it would replace [except in the case of usables and items that don't occupy inventory slots]
This druid staff randomized and augmented. Seems sad to only look for nicely randomized druid staves that grant... Usually, nothing but shadow shield buff + augmenter of choice. If the above would pass; then it would replace and/or complement that - as well as allowing a decent yet onedimensional option for melee damage based shifter to use.

I like this concept!
Would you be open to also adding CL 13 Shadowshield 2/day as a QoL boost to avoid swapping for Shadowshield? (For toons that don't wear Drape of the Doppleganger). Similar to Staff of Emrys, Dueling Drum etc.

Maybe for the paragon one add some imms or phys resists. ESF Animal emp could be cool too. Or epic reflexes.
Thinking about it, Epic Reflexes gets my vote.

Maybe for the paragon one add some imms or phys resists. ESF Animal emp could be cool too. Or epic reflexes. Thinking about it, Epic Reflexes gets my vote. I figured Environmental Adaptivity 2 would be almost too strong, only balanced by its situational use - consider at "worst case scenario" where you are under deep pens and not getting restored, it amounts to 10% phys imm, +1 dc, 6% elem imms, +4 skills, +1-2 ab, and if you die or get dispelled up to +4 ac. The balancing downside being it provides literally nothing if you get greater restored, or in zones with no pens whatsoever. This is what i meant by complementing the other staff. But all these things considered, Epic Reflexes might not be too strong. Would have to hear the devs' opinion on the matter. Edit: on second thought, the epic reflexes fits in there just fine. It is a paragon item after all - wouldn't want it to get outdrafted by OP ur staves like some of us already have - copies i have seen being 70% immunity in green + augmenter, or immunity:confusion added in green + augmenter - which are indeed situationally better as they should be, just not always the only choice. Editing accordingly.Edit edit: sitting on it for a while after all perhaps the reasoning will come to me by the end of the day. I think the paragon version will serve fine as a melee tank option for shifters while also providing caster-ish shifters with a staff that has its time and place, even without epic reflexes.

Approved as to the 55-60 item. As to the paragon version: 1. No comp posted. 2. Huge apparent power increase. If you really think that's warranted, it will require a very lengthy conversation. 3. I understand why you posted the 55-60 and the paragon separately, but it risks having one item completely overlooked. It looks like you have a viable concept for a paragon item, but a lengthy discussion about appropriate power is due, absent a comp. Please repost the paragon item with a new name in a new thread, and we can hash it out. Nice work! Thanks, Funky
