Some of us just aren't interested in loot a lot of the times. Any chance an option could be added that would give a bonus to xp on a run in exchange for no loot drops?

Yeah I think this probably falls into the category of "never gonna happen." Even if it did, it would probably need the limitation of no tags in addition to no loot, as well as not completing the run on the server (you wouldn't want people just running things for XP to take away quests for taggers). It's just a really complicated and unnecessary solution to a "problem" that can be solved simply by investing a bit more play-time.

If you do it right, HG is the server with fasted levelling in the universe (or something like that, said the Funky once). An XP mode is, well, BS.

The idea would be to counter act the repetition for people who have already played their brains out on a particular range. I had the level 40-60 range in mind. If you already have all the URs you're ever going to need, you've probably have already seen and are sick to death of that range. Reducing the annoyance for people who have already been through it ad nausuem seems a worth goal, especially considering the increasing difficulty of leveling new characters given the lower server population.

To pooh why would you fix an issue (unwanted repetitiveness) that isn't loot related by lowering loot? I do agree that the exp required to get to 60 from 40 is too high for current playerbase. In general I've wondered why it's recommended by system to run the highest xp gain LL areas with the help of draggers 30 times to hit a high level (desert, db, thids, rona im looking at you + obligatory tagrun sissy + whatever your toon needs; PoM for crucible users, toyshop for phole ones, etc) when doing all LL areas one by one is slow and comparatively super ineffective. To be honest fixing the xp gain from some of the other areas would go a long way; evening out the areas with lower mob density with tankier/scarier mobs and giving additional incentives to some runs; i.e beholders, black pyramid should have some extra incentive besides the 25% drop. I've said it before, but having +50% XP or even 75% / 100%for level-appropriate groups in LL areas and same xp as currently if there are highbies (draggers) in party would be quite nice as well as granting a bulk xp reward for tagging a LL run, amount in accordance to length or difficulty of the run. A possibility would be so that the extra exp would make you hit ~~ 60 if you do Desert + Sissy + DB + Thids [mandatory ones for endgame content] + [Beho Loca Toyshop Myco Dulv Hive Uro PoM Maze Rona] if you get dragged, and you'd get off with skipping some of the latter mentioned runs if you do every single run in a level appropriate party. Besides the point but it would be cool if both Feywild had random minibosses with interesting rewards and Elemental Planes had a (mini?) boss of sorts in each of the deepest planes dropping a cool reward. Currently they're too monotonic and niche areas that are hardly ever approached unless threatened at gunpoint to enter.

I like what Woqued said about exp gain from completing each LL run once. I think it should get you to lvl 55 vs current 50 or something (I cant remember for sure it's been way too many years since I did that experiment). This could be added by the said bonus exp upon tagging, not necessarely increasing the exp on the said run for farmers who are after a specific item.
