I use the character journal tab 3. Copy the list below and paste it into tab 3 of your journal if you like. It makes keeping the dependencies straight much easier for me.

In case anyone is interested, here is a list of tags and their associated quests I made a very long time ago - not 100% streamlined/correct but it can provide a decent structure to get most tags/quests without needing to go too far out of your way. AFAIK, completing all tags and quests will put you at ~Level 40 without any farming.

I use a Google Spreadsheet that I made a long time ago. You can find it here:

If you have a google account and are logged in, you can open the spreadsheet from the link above and make a copy for the character you are on. I make a new one for each character I do quests with. The original doesn't allow you to edit, but once you make a copy it allows you to just punch in the number of the quest that you are on and it updates to let you know where to go and what the following quest is. If your leveling isn't set in stone, it helps you keep track of what is outstanding.

I usually keep the copy for the character I am playing open in Chrome while I play. I play NWN with windowing so I use alt-enter to pop into windowed mode from fullscreen, bump the number of the quests I turn in, and alt-enter to return to fullscreen.
