In another thread you mentioned it's baseborn titan, and you have half-eladrin and hound archon.
There's nothing about current mod/environment that makes lash unsuitable or inappropriate (in fact the opposite), but unfortunately things did change quite a bit since your early hg career, and a reinc would be required (for example smiting lash is no longer an acceptable build concept). That said, you are in the unenviable position of needing to acquire a 2nd book of matching bur type to upgrade the UR tier toon.
As well, unfortunately both of those bur tank races you mentioned happen to be designed for things focusing on high cha and/or smiting, and neither is well-suited to a prospective lash, but of course a build could be crafted for them. An argument could be made that lash is a bit more forgiving than either cha-focused or 2her divine tank in regards to subrace tier; certainly smiter and 2her divine tank is very unforgiving when it comes to bur and demi (is the lash x0? if not all the better--we can suggest a lash build for you either way).
The simplest (and cheapest/most realistic) choice would be to update to a more viable lash build and leave baseborn titan; ur tier and lacking x2 (? or would it?) it wouldn't be nearly as sexy as a lash with high PLs, demi boni, and extra juice from properly-matched bur sub like half-guard, but of all low-damage tanks, dex lash is a true winner when it comes to delivering some value to the party and performing fine as a tank even without leet pl/tag/gear.
With eladrin and hound archon available it might be tempting to try acquiring a 2nd book for upgrade and make better use of those races for a non-quasi bg that smites, but to be frank: non-quasi bg is very sad and weak paladin; smiter or 2her essentially necessitates x2 demi/bur; smiting is not very good in general and even worse still build for bg lacking pally buffs + minismite + fire dmg; and sword&board bg even of bur race would imo be worse (less useful to party and less impressive) than baseborn lash.
