Hey all -
Just a minor gripe, but I'd love it if my 2H Koly monk could hit the flames dragon in Tia. It can hit every other dragon, including Tia herself, so I'm not sure why it can never make contact with the flames dragon.

I’ll bandwagon this with a friendly reminder that the mini-boss Goristros (Azz1 and Than2) also cannot be attacked by Halfling/Gnome/Dwarf toons. The regular Goristros (Shed1/Than3/Saving Pelor) seem to have been fixed, but the mini-bosses were not affected.

I'm going to label this "Black Widow Syndrome". Sure, that Double demigod halfling with his acid-soaked dagger would absolutely annihilate Tiamat if he could hit her, but unfortunately, his weapon can't quite get through her scales. Tough luck halfling, maybe be bigger next time!
Seriously though, this should probably be fixed.

It's to do with the appearances used, and is not a bug. When we hit EE, however, it should be fixable.

We just had a lot of issues with Orwantz, because the three primary tanks on the run were all small sized. This feels like a problem that can be fixed by changing the goristro appearance until EE or something like that.

We ended up needing to port in an additional toon and drop a party member in order to increase our damage output enough. This isn’t something that every party is able to do, and we would have had to scrub the run without it.

Would it be possible to give Orwantz and Fulgoz the same model as the standard Goristro? Still a big cow, just not occupying the entire screen and being unhittable

It's possible, but there's a reason we didn't - they're not standard Goristros. Given the prevalence of small characters due to ac/ab, I'm ok with them having a few limitations. We're doing something to help larger toons in an upcoming patch, so hopefully you won't run into that issue quite so often. I'm happy to consider QoL changes, if you can come up with a vfx you think appropriate, however, as this particular limitation was not planned, just serendipitous (from a character size balance perspective).

Okay small races get bonuses as stated so where does that leave dwarfs since my monk was on that run as a dwarf so I'm assuming dwarfs will get +1 ac and +1 ab since I couldn't hit the mini either? I like to also bring to attention is there someway to add craft weapon to monks that use gloves , I took these skills not knowing that the game didn't recognize it. I was told it was a scripting issue years ago but I was hoping there might be a solution to this now since monks have a low ab to begin with?

Yeah also large toons can't hit it and they get -1 ac and ab should give large toons +50 str
