Making another post coz i think this would be really fun, once level 80 u can use the level command to trade in xp for bonuses. 100million xp for a feat or somthing else?

Perhaps at level 80, toons can acquire a token that allows simple crafting of consumables by spending surplus XP, GR pots or weapon buffs for example?
Craftable items might vary by class. Tokens can be automatically acquired upon achieving level 80 or earned, perhaps as a reward for acquiring every HG tag.

The point of this to me me is that it doesn't max out. So it is more rewarding to play a maxed out toon

Pick intrinsic immunity/ability/feat every 50m exp starting at 125m, tiered in terms of power - tier 1 at 175m, tier 2 at 225m, tier 3 at 275m, then starting from tier1 again repeat.
Tier 1: convenience - TA, beaker of awesome like forge gems, weapon buffer, etc. Cosmetics wings/glow/younameit, 10% ms bonus.
Tier 2: Extra feat up to EPIC tier; extra spell school feat up to EPIC level (so no paragon spell focus everything toons possible), weapon affinity of choice, extra spell known of choice (max 1 per tier, so even at 600m xp you wouldn't have more than normal +1 potential spell level feat from xp).
Tier 3: Immunity of choice from chosen list with stuff like spell immunity: x, poison/stun/conf/charm/kd/... immunity of choice. Essentially mimicking random added property on item or even potentially the immunity bonus on a stat artifact.
Essentially every 150m xp beyond 125 grants an extra added prop on item without spending a green slot on item, + 1 feat (up to epic, to slow powercreeping) + vanity. Imagine the pain of reincing if a huge nerfbat patch hits your character at 350m+ exp, awwyeeah.

I would be happy just to see XP over 125 million not deleted with reincarnation. This would offer an XP reincarnation bank to hedge against server changes, "ooops I preferred the other build", etc. It also adds to the flavor of a toon, being a grizzled old vet .

Everquest had something similar with Alternate experience; an xp pool derived from earned xp but separate from leveling xp; ie reincarnation wouldn't effect it. It got complex later but the core was putting points in for stuff like increased stats/checks/imms/resists or slight increases to critical hit chance/damage, extra elemental damage or a chance for a second attack per round on melee, or a chance to not consume mana on spellcast (or use a spell slot here). The gains were small but steady and some of the later stuff was pretty good. Barring engine limitations I think some kind of system similar to that could work here. One of the main draws for a game is progression and things can get stale when you max out and your character doesnt have anything to work towards.

If you want to outline something we will consider it, though I'm not sure I want to commit to something like that. It would require a lot of changes to a lot of mod systems, though, which makes it probably a post-Enhanced Edition change if anything.

Xp over 125 000 000 can be exchanged for bonuses. This xp is constant and not effected by racial or fc xp bonus or penalty. The bonuses will be kept on reincarnation. 50 000 000xp can be consumed to give your character 1%immunity to all damage types.
50 000 000xp can be consumed to give your character 1% increased damage from all sources.
If that isn't codeable other suggestion would be.
50 000 000xp can be consumed for a movement increase of +0.5m/s
50 000 000xp can be consumed for wings of your choice
Also wokis bonuses are a good suggestion also.

i'd rather just see L81-100. more aesthetically pleasing.
also if there's ever more post-limbo content it makes sense. if not, then who cares i guess, but it'd be a shame to stop at L80 imo.
if 80 is a soft or hard cap then that's fine but it makes any "elder evil" balancing kinda funny to contemplate if L80s are struggling with p2 and/or hard limbo atm. how are mobs going to be balanced if PLs is the limit of actual/numerical level-based power and any progression past that is fluffy character tweaking? or tbh how much harder can the game get without going on level-based metrics like SR and AC, if post-limbo mobs are ~limbo mobs then what's the difference in rewards of EEs and how would it be justified?
if "harder than limbo" areas are unrealistic then whatever, give ppl some fluff to make em happy, i'm sure most of us don't imagine EEs to be very realistic at this point. but then again most of us thought limbo was a joke to never happen for years, and it actually did...so...shrug
