OK all you multiboxers what causes running multiple windowed instances of NWN create massive ingame lag. I was testing out on my sons PC and one instance is fine but as soon as you open another they all start lagging. The PC is a decent spec and runs newer games at a good frame rate with no issues and one instance of NWN flies along so that's not the problem either. PC spec is as follows Intel i5 4570, 16GB DDR3, Geforce GTX960 2GB and Windows 10

You have to have different port number on both clients.

I'm pretty sure the scripts have different port numbers, I thought this just caused a login fail rather than massive lag but I'll get him to have a look anyway thanks. I've never run multiple instances on the same machine as I'm old and can't get my head around non screen edge auto rotate

Think that performance can be boosted changing the CPU affinity in the nwn config file.

Yea Chain, I had that issue too, but as gatsu said, changing your CPU Affinity to -2 instead of 0 on all accounts helped my issues with lag. Z
