28/7/5 ftr/wm/harper with integrated hide on harper level 40 & umd in LLs and then maxing hide in LLs was the gist of it; take the prereq & LSA:Hide feat or go elf able learner with a lot of int/saves like Deathless or something. Idea of the build was just max damage with big crits and even forsake ftr edodge at 30 for more damage to wm7 thanks to good gear, hide, ftr parry. Use falchion for 18-20x2 max reliable big dick crits.
I'd recommend running a monk or sword&board build initially before going 28/7/5; leveling that and not having extreme gear makes the build weaker than some alternatives, but good gear & high paragon / demicount / abyss wins allows you to go all in on dmg while remaining extremely durable.
That was the gist of it. Fill in the blanks, it's an easy build to make. Land between 120-132 ac, ab of 102-115, saves 70+, str/dex between max 64 str minimum 40 dex some spread with str as main, fit in disc/parry/listen/hide/tumble bit of conc&umd, dump ca/cw; paragon feats PWF/PWS/PEAx2-x3; filler floater feat for Lev/Skills/Adapt/Balance; Bonus points if you use expertise or imp expertise to make up for low ac when in dire straits. Now do the puzzle to end up in that situation and the build is done; with personal flavour affecting end ab, ac, saves, paragon feat selection and available gear decides whether you take stuff like ESF:Hide / ESF:Parry or not.
I believe original was Half-Guardinal - you can pull off the build on that, or you could use some XR variant for bigger overall benefits towards feats/ac/ab, but less intrinsic defenses.
