It seems when you change to a smaller size, the game forgets that the toon is large size when you get on, disarming your toon. This would not be a problem, except that you can't put it back on either. Relogging to the server doesn't help; the only solution was to swap appearances.
However, another problem arises when you swap appearances.
When you swap to the large size, not only do you crash, but you crash pretty much everyone that's on the map with you. I was on DB when I switched appearances, causing my game to crash, all my multibox toons, and all my party members as well. I imagine this is going to be a nightmare when the toon gets to hells as it will need to weapon swap a lot.
Please look into it when possible, don't want to sit the toon until I get another XR race.
Hmm, it seems that different servers affect this issue. On the server that was crashing people, my toon can't use large weapons until I change apperances, but I go on other servers and the toon eventually recognizes that it can use the weapon. Maybe something in DB triggered this bug, but I'm not sure. I was also keeping the toon unarmed, perhaps I should leave it unarmed every time I log off from now on.

I have had size issues with Neraphim.
When logging onto a server for the 1st time, the size of the race is medium. But as it is logging in, the game thinks it is large size, and blamks out quick slots of tiny weapons, transitioning to another map unblanks the quick slots.
When relogging onto a server, the Neraphim comes back large size. Only fix to get back to medium size is to use the scry to swap appearance, which then makes the Neraphim medium size. A map transition is once again required to fix quick slots for tiny weapons.
If relog again to a server without using scry to fix size, any tiny items equipped are forced to be unequipped and will mess up the first page of a characters inventory similar to items equipped through Use Magic Device skill.
I have experienced multiple people crashing in Dustbone runs when low discipline characters having their armor stripped by a Flesher.
I Hope some of this info helps with your Dracotaur.
