-equipping (earth and i assume eventually vacuum eh?) survival ring*, reminding that you must rest with it on before it will function. this is to be proactive, instead of only the reminder that it *won't* work until you *do* rest. swapping rings while multitasking for stuff like desert/db/rona, it's easy to forget what you're doing and if you run in, die, wait for standup, forget to rest again...bleh. tiny qol thing, maybe i'm the only one this dumb, it'd be nice tho, just a little poke so you don't forget.
-unequipping a survival ring*, reminding you that you just removed an item and you immediately begin to feel the effects of not wearing it (i.e. if you're in uro and you take off your levi ring, text says "without your ring of levitation no longer around your finger, you immediately begin to lose balance on the ice!"), before the next tick or trigger occurs to make you suffer the environmental hazard. in other words, if you take off WB ring, you immediately start drowning and messages spam, but if you take off levi ring, you might not die to quicksand/kd on ice until you move again. this one would just be to help in case you accidentally unequip the ring without meaning to (misclick/lag etc). kind of like how you can't port into water environment without WB. which leads to...
-blocking port into levi area if you aren't levitating already. i mean, if whatever helpful hero-survival protection mechanism built into the Scry device prevents adventurers from accidentally porting into their own watery graves, it should also do the same for places where you have to be flying. i know it isn't necessarily immediate death like drowning (well, it is in rona) but still.
-check if restring is still equipped upon return from PPD: "Having returned safely from the pocket dimension with its wearer, the planar ring on your finger vibrates urgently, waiting to be removed" everyone's been thru this more than once i'm sure, and it's usually in the spot your mord ring was supposed to be in amirite
