Was in the abyss the other day and when i died i autorespawned in about 30sec, if there are changes to the autospawn time in the abyss i think the timer should swing the other way, it take a long time to finish some of those battles.

i think there is a bug in exquisit robes from Gaoblin, it sells for 0gp You are no longer able to sell items in the merchants emporium nor the import shop. This is to reduce lag. We tried to lessen the flow of traffic by reducing buyback values, asking nicely, etc. and to no avail. Therefore.....you can't now Sell your goods to the weapons shop or the armor shop for full price value.

The autorespawn is still set at 5 mins. I have tried my best to eliminate the premature respawn bug and it appears I am not done. grrr....

Okay folks, here's the deal on respawning. Listen up. When you die, a delay fires that will wait 5 mins. At the end of the 5 mins, if you are dead at that moment, you will respawn. What is happening is that you are getting up and dying again before the 5 mins is up. When the 5 mins hits, you are lying dead on the floor and so the computer respawns you. This happens SO rarely, that it's not worth trying code after code after code to fix it. I've tried and the current system is the best (and least laggy) way to handle it. In short.....don't die within 5 mins of....dying. Thx, management ;D P.S. If someone has a CODE fix, not a suggestion, please post it and we'll jump right on it. Until then, stop dying so much. :

one of the NWN item categories is "plot" items. Any item placed under this category can be bought/sold for 0 gold. NWN has this to prevent people from selling needed items and messing with the plotline.
There are only a handful of the "items" on the Higher Ground server including, but not limited to 1) Second Chance scrolls 2) Exquisit Robes 3) Amulet of the Long Death +3
Although they have a value of 0 they still follow the level restiction for items as though they wern't considered "plot" related.
Since they cannot be sold, the best way to get rid of them would be to drop them and leave the area to have the server remove them

I agree, Dworkin is a bug. Every time I see him in the server, the bloody thing crashes. :-P

I do actaully have a legitimate problem now. I was fiddling around with the Deck of Hazards tonight and drew a card that took enough xp to take a level from me (which I thought wasn't possible unless by DM intervention). Since I had leveled up, I had bought some equip that I guess was lvl 22 required, since when I tried to log back in, it gave me an item level error. Might I suggest taking the Deck out of the shop, since it could cause some problems. I won't even talk about the card I drew that cleaned out my inventory of everything not marked plot. That really sucked.

I think that that is an excellent suggestion. Any objections? You have until to the next update to convince me otherwise.
