What will I risk with the Deck of Hazards?

well if I use it was gonna use it on a brand new toon when I wanna level one, if I get a bad result can just delete toon but having avatar item or a quick 10k xp could be cool.

Is the avatar item transferable?

As I previously mentioned I don't think it is transferable, however feel free to create new characters just to use the deck and test it out if that is your desire.

You can transfer the avatar. Also you need a certain level to use the deck. I think 21 or something.

Cheers Doomy, I really couldn't get the enthusiasm to find an ancient character I had the avatar on to test it out, does the avatar itself have a minimum level req?
Either way it effectively means that by time you get to the level to use the deck its bad effects are way more likely to cause you issues than the 10,000 exp you could get if you roll the one value that gives you that, final words leave it well alone.
Final, final words, its not called the Deck of Benefits, its called the Deck of Hazards, in my book hazards are not something I want to intentionally inflict on myself!

Aaargh! 14 cards and no avatar. Also, the Bequest card gave me little better than Diddly squat! Animate dead scroll, Acid blob trap and a cure critical wounds potions! Those are hardly epic unique items!!

BTW, what is the gauntlet card? It is not in the standard game and did not seem to do anything . . .

(I am about to reincarnate, so I have stripped all my inventory, anyway)

The only thing "worth it" on deck for the negatives is the avatar, and that's just for playing around it's really really not useful. Only time I would use deck is on a character you are about to reincarnate, I did that and got the avatar on a 3 card draw. Since that's the only reason one should ever use the deck for and it's really not much I can give you one if you want.

So in short, not worth bothering on the deck unless you're reincarnating and trying to get the avatar. Message me in game and I will give ya the avatar if you want.

I has been discussed earlier on, yes it is transferable, get one, pass it around amongst your characters (if that is your thing), throw the deck away and never pick up another, job done.

I know I have been pushing the deck, because the avatar gives one more shape to run around in, but I admit I was _very_ disappointed in the "bequest" reward. The bequest should at least give a unique item.

Does anybody know what the "gauntlet" card does?

I lucked out, the one time I remembered to use a deck before reincarnating i did a 3 pull and got the avatar and summoned 2 dragons, one of which was aggro to me other as a pet. Not useful in long run but for neat tricks could be fun to use avatar before afking or something, and could be ok on a level 2 to get the first few levels.
