Hello! I'm new here, and I seem to be having two issues which may or may not be related.
(1) According to the installation guide, new purchases from GOG have unique CD-Keys, yet when I login it says mine is a "public" one, and prompts me to get a unique one from GOG, and points me to the very same installation guide. What am I missing?
(2) It asks me what my password is, and there was no prompt to set a password. Anything I type I get "password incorrect"
Very excited to join and a bit sad I couldn't start right away!

Did you change the CD-key and guarantee you saved the txt folder? It sounds like you might've gotten a cd-key someone else has already password protected previously.

You should receive another CD-Key via email or something or in a new special folder/something afaik? Then replace the "default" cd-key with the new one. It may have changed tho since I got mine from GOG.
