-Spell Edits
--Paragon spells Sonic Conjunction and Burn the Veil are now working.
--Druid level 9 spell Planar Perinarch is now working. Its effects are slightly different than those listed in the spell description. It creates a gargantuan aura around the druid. Enemies entering this aura get a SR and save check. If they fail, they are hit with a 1 point of Damage Resistance Decrease per 10 casterlevels, plus 1 point of DRD per 10 paragon levels, up to 8. They also get a -1 skill penalty (increasing to 2 points at 5 DRD), and -1 to ac and all saves. The druid must make concentration checks to keep the aura up, with check DC of 2 per round the spell has been up + 5 for each creature presently effected by the spell + 1 per 2 casterlevels.
--Paragon spell Tenser's Perfect Mantle no longer stacks with itself.
--Eradicate and Lure Phane now have 5 minute cooldown timers.
--Lure Phane can no longer be used within 8 seconds of creatures spawning, to prevent blocking of onspawn code activating summons and defenses.
--Horrid Wilting now does double damage to plant-type enemies.
--Shadow Shield now only grants immunity to necromantic spells at casterlevel 55 or higher.
-Class edits
--Purple Dragon Knight's Knightly Valor ability now adds an attack if the PDK has less than 4 base attacks by level 20, much as Divine Power does. This added attack stacks with other sources of added attacks, but PDKs receiving this bonus do not receive the same 'less than 4 by 20' added attack from Divine-Power type spells.
--Dragon Disciple breath damage resistance reduction is now working.
--Gnomish Inventor bombs no longer refresh when swapping servers.
--Gnomish Inventor shocker bombs now have different behavior underwater.
--The augment-stripping BUR craftbook has been replaced in the loot tables by the augment-remove-and-keep craftbook (still at BUR rarity).
--Herald of Storms characters are now permitted to use paragon as well as epic schools from the conjuration and enchantment schools, and based on control class.
--Azer fire breath no longer works underwater.
--Assassins now gain +1 Strength or +1 Dexterity every 5 Legendary Levels, based on which stat is higher. If the stats are equal, the assassin gains Strength. If your assassin logged in between Dec 1 and this updattte, and received Dex when their Str score was higher, they should post on the forums and a member of the DM Team can assist in correcting the error.
--Arcane Archer, Ranger, Divine Slinger, and Gnomish Inventor have had their damage rescaled to a smoother progression (every 4 levels, excepting Ranger which scales off Wisdom). This resulted in additional damage, most notably at the highest levels.
-Kickback Modifications
--Assassin Penetrating Strike no longer causes extra kickback damage from kb enemies.
--When cast by a Herald of Storms, the spells Freezing Fog and Static Field no longer cause extra kickback damage from kb enemies.
--Arcane Archer Imbue Arrow no longer causes extra kickback damage from kb enemies.
-Loot
--Added Tragidore venoms to the hells store and consumables loot chests.
--Elysium and Aboleth items now have a use level restriction of 55, in addition to their tag requirements.
--The Codex of Arcane Algorithms now requires control class Wizard to use.
--Writ of Passage has had its function restored. Because it no longer works with the new Hells tagging rules, it now provides 'completed' status to the lowest hell layer your character has yet to complete, up to layer 8.
-Areas
--Hellsgate Arena now has Limbo creatures available for playtesting builds.
--Fixed a bug causing loot in Tragidore and the Arcane Archive to incorrectly respawn.
--Fixed an issue preventing the pyramid energy artifact from spawning if overlevel characters completed or were present in the pyrmaid.
--Lolth's Sanctum and the immortal run areas now feature low-grade area penalties. This change permits Planar Perinarch to work in these areas.
--The following limbo mobs are now vulnerable to Knockdown: Grey Slaad, Green Slaad, Kaorti Mocker, and Kaorti Nullifier.
--The following hells mobs are now invulnerable to entangle: advespa, amnizu, ayperobos swarm, brachina, brood serpent, cinderscale, coldforge construct, cornugon, erinyes, infernal machine, living cold, malebranche, malefic wind, mammon tear, pit fiend, pyrexic fume, and soul shell.
--Fixed an issue with the despawning of the Aboleth boss' temporal duplicate.
--The exit from Avernus: Pillar of Skulls now blocks transition if you do not have a hell skull.
