You could say the same about the imms/resists, just read the log with !filter imm on. It's nice to get all the info in one place.

For various reasons its often best to have combat log off and just filter in neccessary information, between being able to see important info when it is relevant and also lag issues at times...so expanding the spell to give more relavent info is perhaps a good idea since you are already taking the effort to use the ability. Is refraining from inputting on every thread just to down on what they say too much effort for some people? Might be different if it didn't seem like some people only post to put others ideas down for the sake of putting people down.

I'm of two minds on this one. On the other hand, the information is already available. On the other, having it accessible in one tidy package has value. I'm not sure it's worth the effort to implement, given other priorities, but I put it on the todo list.

Know Vulnerabilities, aka not "tell me everything about this monster and lore too while at it".
Info is already available to players via loggers / combat log; whereas imms/dr are much harder to pinpoint and thus not exactly a fair comparison. AC/AB u learn just by hitting a monster before debuffing it and it hitting you back. Save & SR are done in same way by casting anything at them.
That being said, not against the idea - seems good. But there would be valid reasons not to spend time on tweaking it in any way.

What combat loggers are out there to log combat info with info not included in the regular log btw? I know to see important info ive had to not include regular info and use filters, and I am one of many who have experienced more lag/crashing when i dont exclude combat info. So although ive never used kv would be a nice feature on the eventual roundtoit list.

Mob AB is reasonable to check in logs, AC is much harder. You have to miss on a number and hit on the number +1 to pinpoint it.

As in I dont have a bard up to level yet, but the thought of casting a spell to see info that is avail ( aka not hidden info) so you dont have to stop combat, turn on log long enough for enough data, and turn it off to be able to get back to the game seems like a qol boost. If you leave log on whole time you overflow and lose data, if you stop run long enough to check info youre holding up the run.
Granted i havent found an addon logger yet that lets you maintain all that data (i also dont run hgx often due to pwrformance issues) but having it integrated into a spell already in place helps out thosee without loggers. But then again not a priority.
And seeing as ive yet to use kv myself not a pressing idea for me was just saying it seems like a cool feature to put available info in one place (especially since in combat mob is often under negative effects that change their base values). Of course someone who evaluates log data could add it to wiki for people to reference if they chose to "spoil" but that would imply teamwork.
Unless those that say just use the log dont use stat lowering effects or calculate all the buffs/debuffs while watching combat log AND actually fight the fight at the same time.
Does KV show current info after debuffs or base values? If base then I'd say showing base ac/ab through kv is better than info logs can give you. Again just qol tho, i personally dont know or pay attention to all the numbers but could be cool to have.
