Is there any plan to allow players to save more than just spells in back up quick bars? (!qb save ...) Just wondering. I have no idea what the mechanics or work would be.
Separately, I could have sworn there was some other way of getting multiple quick bars set up, beyond the standard three. Are there any other quickbar tools?

IIRC some players were able to cheese more quickbars using keyboards with custom macro keys, but can't recall the details. You can also save some slots using voice binding, in the case of shifter you can voice bind stuff like !pcscry, !cancel poly, and many more.

Is there any plan to allow players to save more than just spells in back up quick bars? (!qb save ...) Just wondering. I have no idea what the mechanics or work would be. According to the documentation and some ancient posts by Acaos, there were plans to expand the functionality. I think this development stalled out a long time ago and is unlikely to ever resurface. Separately, I could have sworn there was some other way of getting multiple quick bars set up, beyond the standard three. Are there any other quickbar tools? Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but give this thread about an old player's AHK script a read. I used to use this and really liked it. I haven't touched it in many years so I can't give any reliable recent feedback. It looks like the .exe has been removed but the AHK script file link is still valid. At any rate, regardless of that particular script and .exe, maybe reading the thread will give you some ideas.

I find !qb load has an annoying lag for me (app freezes for ~2 seconds or so) which is annoying enough not to use it. The ahk scripts you mention probably dont work with multiple screens (for boxers) btw as it will only capture the active/named window or pid. I did review that code last year sometime, it does have some cool ideas/features.
I'm not aware of any other plugin functionality (eg modding) to add extra quickbars unfortunately. Just need to be efficient and decide what is really important enough to be there, anything else can be voicebound or accessed through radial menu.

I would be fine with the lag, since I would want to load up my backup (saved) qb’s with item calls so that I can buff before entering battle. Unfortunately, “!qb save …” does not keep my items in the save quick bar. (And, as the poor, patient, veteran souls who have been with me on my runs are aware, I don’t even have other rooms, let alone other boxes! :-) )

Unfortunately, “!qb save …” does not keep my items in the save quick bar. QB can save spells, some abilities and some feats in my experience. The journal entry specifically mentions that items cannot be saved due to technical limitations. Solution - put your items on 1 quickbar that you dont save/load and just have abilities/spells/feats on the other dynamic bar(s)

Wasn't use of the !qb save command (and the associated !qb # command) associated with causing server crashes at one point? Or am I just confused? Thanks!

An AHK could work to save you some clicking, but you'd have to: 1) Have the items at certain place in inventory before firing the script. 2) Have the same resolution. 3) Have the inventory screen on the left side of your screen.
Unless you're using a dozen of items each time OR have a hard time locating an item you want to use among others, I don't really see how it would benefit you.

Well, other than my shapes, but those, I do need to be able to access quickly in the midst of battle! :-D An AHK could work to save you some clicking, but you'd have to: 1) Have the items at certain place in inventory before firing the script. 2) Have the same resolution. 3) Have the inventory screen on the left side of your screen. Heh, I have 14 equipment items that I cycle through for buffs. I have actually gotten pretty good at swapping them out faster than my action queue empties, but a qb would be much better. I would need 31 slots to wear and activate all the effects (plus 2 non-wearable items) I envisioned having "!qb load 6", "!qb load 5" and "!qb load 4" in my main quick bars, running through the buffs, and having "!qb load 3", "!qb load 2" and "!qb load 1" as the last slots in my three buffing quick bars. :-D I actually am a bit OCD with my item placements. Is there documentation for an AHK?

The likelihood is that if you’re wearing decent gear the bulk of your item buffing is irrelevant.

14 items sounds redundant. Every item means pontential lag problem. AHK doesn't know what it's doing so you can either set a time delay and hope a larger lag spike won't mess up your whole queue (slow) or you can try detecting item swap in logs (more difficult but a lot faster). 14 items also mean the script has to move each piece back to its desired place manually cause otherwise with auto placement back in inventory you risk position mismatch. If you're willing to do the work though it will ease your life. Mindless clicking is boring and is avoided in good games. I've made autostarter for my 10 clients and party invitations for all bots cause it gets really repetitive.

You should list the 14 items you need to buff with, guessing some folks here can point out a bunch that really do nothing/next to nothing for you...

A bunch were removed/disabled because they could crash a server....which of course people starting doing on purpose for personal gain and to ruin runs of others. KE.

KE. !sb save and !sb load were removed. !qb still works and have not seen any problems as a result, though I havent really used in a while personally.
