Is there any command that allows you to list the contents of a specific transfer chest (or of all your transfer chests?)
I am starting to lose track of where I have placed items (more to the point, there is one item that I cannot find in the chest I would have expected it in)
It would be great if there was a: "!bccontents <bank chest name or all>" which would spit out the back chests and their contents, so that you could then search your log file for an item that may be lost.

There have been some projects, including some code in hgx, to do so upon listing the contents manually. None of them seem to work especially well though. The manual way to do it. 1. Enable logging in nwn if not already and start/restart nwn : nwnplayer.ini > ClientEntireChatWindowLogging=1 2. !bc list 3. !bc <pick your first chest on list> 4. open the chest 5. !list contents (targetting the chest) 6. When you have gone through all your chests, open <gamedirectory>\logs\nwnclientlog1.txt (or the latest one present) You should see all the output from all your chests. Now you can save that somewhere and do a search within to find specific items.

Thanks boroie!
Ouch: 1) bc chest 2) open chest 3) !list contents (can be put in quickbar, but still . . .) 4) select targetter (can be put in qb, but still . . .) 5) click on chest 6) close chest repeat.
Well, I am up to my "D..." chests. :_(
Any code examples available for people trying to make it less painful?

Yes make mules 150 items per mule no restrictions on randomized items per mule, only reason to use a chest is artifacts.......................and you can call it exactly what you want to make finding stuff easy prefix them all with Zz and they will all end up at the end of your list, job done

And before you say you only have one character you can dump them in the guild splitter while you are switching as I know your main character is guilded, you can always use the shelves in the Sages place or the Wyrm splitters if you can't be bothered to guild your mules

Well, that might reduce the number of things to check by 3, but I still wouldn't know an easy way to query them all, if I misplaced one of my shields. It also sounds like it would be much more painful to swap around items:
Not sure why I would need a splitter. I assume I would just log on as the different mules I am interested and throw the equipment I need into a transfer chest, then pick the stuff up from that chest with my main toon. Can the split chest somehow be used to make it less painful? I am not familiar with shelves in the sage's home; could those be used to make the packmule strategy less painful?
I normally know where anything I want is. Trouble is, I seem to have misplaced one shield (hopefully) or just lost it (unhopefully)

Said splitter as leaving loot outside containers whilst relogging could cause them to vanish due to the despawn effect basically didn't want you saying you left stuff on the floor somewhere and when you relogged it had gone. Not sure how putting all your shields on a character called Zz Shields could make it more difficult to track down. Anyway its what I do and avoids any issues with chests going awol

give this a try: highergroundpoa.proboards.com/thread/24089/hgx-script-itemtracker-final-betathere is one caveat to this system, besides the fact that you needed it when you put the item in the chest. when you use multiple boxes some people use the same name for a chest twice, each time that chest is opened it will overwrite the old content data so you should use unique names for every bank chest on every box you have, for example: !bc asmodopplegang !bc asmojoecool as opposed to just !bc asmoartifacts

Unfortunately, I am getting an error from the drop box url listed in the item tracker thread. :_( Could anybody put up a copy? Fortunately, I did go through all my chests, the long way, and found my +10/soak 30 aasgart shield! (I had put it into my "stun" chest, since it also has stun immunity) Meenlock physical KB (and KB from those bulls in Rona) is no longer a worry!
