Not sure where to post this, please move it to the appropriate area if needed.
A couple of items here.
1. I have some druid levels and some monk levels. Naked, I have a better AC than with some pretty good armor. I have never noticed this on any other servers. Is there a script that changes the mechanics of the Monk/Wisdom AC bonus?
2. Resting. I understand that if you rest while another in the party is currently resting, it will interrupt both of your rests and spawn some creatures that will start attacking. I also see where there is a rule not to exploit this to gain XP. Would it not be easier to just make it impossible for someone to rest while another rests, or let as many rest at a time as they want? Because, this system is going to get abused even if by accident. After you tell the group you are about to rest, some may go ahead and rest, too, for a number of reasons. There seems to be too many problems inherit with the current resting system.

on other server i saw that they had a rest time... after you rest you had to wait 4 min before you can rest again... this is terrible for caster but maybe an idea to stop the rest plvl idea but you can set it on 1 or 2 min also

On the Monk/Druid: Keep in mind you lose the Wisdom bonus wearing armor OR a shield. (Dex bonus is hampered by armor, but not shields.) With shields ending in the 10-15 AC range, that's a lot to make up for.
My beef with rest-restricted is the timer is set whether you complete the rest or not. Otherwise, 4 minutes is more than reasonable. It might be hard at lower level but, until you can cast level 3 or so, you're safer with a Flame Weapon packing summon and Panther than provoking enemies directly.
(I was on the Final Fantasy server yesterday, where my strategy was basically staying invisible while my summon and Pseudodragon ravaged the countryside.)

We could, I think, do a rest timer set only after a successful rest, though I really don't like rest restriction systems. The original post in this thread was pretty misleading, since only some areas have rest spawns requiring a one-at-a-time strategy to get rest effectively. If rest-spawning were a problem, I might consider it, but as the server stands right now there are faster legal ways to get xp than rest spawning, so its largely a waste of time. The admonition against it was a part of the original, overly constrictive PoA rules, which we left in mainly bacause it seemed like such a dumb thing to do, both XPwise AND RPwise. Funky
