yesterday i noticed with valcano helm on i was being knocked down in the tower from the humans with sonic swords. today a party member of mine was complaining he had the sage ring on and he kept getting confused in the tower from the dog creatures. just trying to help with info thanks

At first I thought they had just slowed me as is common, but no, my boots had simply stopped working. Taking them off and back on solved the problem and my haste returned, try swapping your items off/on. I also had an issue yesterday where my Dex, AC, and reflex saves were dropped by 6-8 (negative saves instead of positive). Nothing would fix this except relogging. Strange stuff happening yesterday I guess... Dave.

Yep - Rothe Horn no longer opening Kardkildontar's lair
Blow it, it says the "yak" message
But then 2 things DON'T happen
(1) door doesn't open (clarification: I mean unlock here) (2) uses per day doesn't drop - as i recal you can only use the horn once per rest, but it now allows you to blow as much as you like,... all to nil effect though

Umm, by edit-clarified do you mean problem solved? This could be a side effect of the recent script revisions I did. In over 400 scripts, I removed the problem function GetObjectByTag and replaced it with one of a number of better alternatives. The upside is faster, more accurate scripts. The downside is I'm sure in at least one or two cases I screwed the script up by using an inappropriate replacement, because to be certain of the correct replacement you need to know the area the script is fired in, and I couldn't pinpoint it in a number of cases. In fact, I had to leave over 100 of the problem function in place until I ccould a) verify that the script was from a removed area and can be cut altogether (not easy), or b) find the area (easier but still not fun). I am relying on you the players to find the 1 or 2 (hopefully not more) that I screwed up, so PLEASE let me know if it still isnt working. Best, Funky

I meant EDIT CLARIFIED to mean
Ediet the document and clarified the phrase "Door did not open" to "the door did not unlock" - the horn only unlocks it afterall and not opens it.
And so ... I mean it still does not unlock it

Checked it out. First off, it has always been unlimited use. Second, there's no reason it shouldn't be working, it wasn't one of the changed scripts. Maybe lag is to blame. Anyway, thanks for the report. Funky

Hmmm, no, I could be wrong, I suppose. Have you tried it since the update? I wondering if there wasn't a mite bit of file corruption in the last update, some strange things were happening. Funky

First off, it has always been unlimited use. Yup, Funky is right. I'm at the gate right now with the horn, it's unlimited use. But, the gate doesn't open when I blow on the horn as Grog said. My character uses the horn then does something else right after, as if he's casting a spell or something, even though I didn't click anything else besides blowing on the horn. Weird...

I am having problems with the storage chest at the bank, in so much that it will not close and save my gear. When I click to shut the chest the inventory pane is closed but I don't get the message to tell me that the contents have been saved. I am now storing my gear on character. Garndo
Edit - problem only occurs on the left-hand chest
