Has the % of getting a bur in hell dropped by any chance? Did 4 or 5 runs on various lvls and had a return of 2 or 3 burs total for the whole group(10 people). Just wondering if something is broken or the chance has been lowered. thx

Could also just be a bout of bad luck you had there. Either that, or all of your previous encounters with BURs were luckier than normal. Lady Luck is a fickle mistress

Your averaging 50% on BUR dropping it seems. To me this is pretty good considering that they are meant to be beyond ultra rares.
If BURS were 100%, meaning at least 1 dropped every run then it wouldnt take long for them to flood the market. To balance this are the set drops, which hopefully do drop a bit more frequently.

If only 2 runs occur a day (remember got several time zones) then thats 14 burs a week. In 2 months thats a lot of burs to be seen around. In 6 months, well. I agree this is shared amongst the group but thats a serious amount of BURs for trade/use.
I think there is more focus for BURs than the actual static hell drops, probably because everyone expects several BURs to drop all the time. In reality the emphasis should be looking for the static hell drops with BURs as a bonus chance of very good loot.

Ummm... think about how long URs have been around. Is the market flooded with URs? Yes. Does that devalue them? No. Until someone starts handing out free URs I don't think we need to worry about the market being flooded with BURs....
And people don't even sell them either!

i don't see a problem with the drop rate. i think you guys are expecting BURS to simply drop as hells-URs when in reality they're beyond ultra-rare, so shouldn't there be less of them? you don't go into the desert expecting more than MAYBE 1 ur for the entire run. if you get 2 or 3 that's fantastic, then you have to split it throughout the entire party.
a hells run is harder, and less likely to drop a bur, and you have to split it amongst the party: seems right to me

If a bur drops once every 3 runs and you have 10 people in the party the odds of getting a bur are minute to say the least. If thats the way it is then fine. I was just asking if something has changed since we used to get many more than we are now. I have no problem if the DM team thought too many were dropping and changed it. I can only assume that chances are increased the lower we go. Didnt mean to complain, just asked a simple question.

No, if we had done that it would've appeared on the update boards. Funky
