I think the level 45 limit was envisioned only for Manatakloss, Lolth, and the Abyss. Not for any LL areas. Yeah, that's what I meant. Incidentally, what's with the 45 cap (as opposed to any other number)? 45 has 3 stat gains and 2 LL feats? Why there? 45 is the max level you can still get planar recharges from the Lolth run. So it seemed to make sense. That and the general idea that you'd probably have a roughly appropriate party power wise if capped there, rather than a hugely overpowered party, which you'd lean towards with people of 50+. I love doing those runs with no immortals, but enforcing that might be a little harsh. I figured by level 45 you should be able to venture out into the mod a little more (such as Maze of the Ancients, Ssithraks and their surrounding areas).

Just thought I would mention that the MAZE is level/tag restricted. Not sure which it is, but I was told you could go to the Maze even as a non immortal.
Last weekend my son and I tried to go there to explore. I took Medic and he tried taking his newly immortal BFM (40th lvl). When he tried to port in from the Cavern it wouldnt let him go in. I went in and out easily. He has immo, but has not done Sissy, Dachy, or DB (obviously~).
Just thought I would mention this in case this is not working as intended.

Nope, the maze is indeed restricted to immortals only. Funky ok, but his character IS immortal...and it still wont let him in.

You just can't PORT in to the maze, you need to walk in the old fashioned way (through the portal, rather than using the scry).

He was running the wrong character. The toon he had was NOT immo. We fixed that this weekend. Sorry for the drama

I've often wondered what a no-immo party would do faced with a Lolth run. Maybe I'll get to find out! The [HC] Lolth is still far away, it seems, with some recent deaths. I've done a fair amount of no-immo Xuls, that's pretty simple; I really want to try Lolth with everyone at 40.
Bravo to the level cap. However it's figured out.

Aye, one thing you'd definitely want is a Bloodfire Mage, maybe even two. Mine was incredibly effective against the drow, and wiped out Lolth herself in a few hits - EVEN with high-level immortals present I was making a meaningful contribution.
But it could be done without, especially if you had a PPer and some smart tanks who could actually damage them.

Would be nice to have the newer area's added and also some thoughts on what a character needs in order to prep for the area. Does anyone know the target ACs for the runs? This would be handier to have too
