Forsaken and I were wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing The Player Resource Consortium (PRC) added to the new Higher Ground? If you don't know what it is yet, take a look at the webpage and let us know what you think!

so its a hak for additional classes? i like it Aye Higan (Good to see you back bud!), it is a HAK pack that has been used on numerous other NWN servers. I've checked it out myself, and all I can say is that it is awesome! It adds a whole new element to the game, making it feel much larger than its actual scope.

Oh, I forgot to mention that they were the 3rd HAK pack ever inducted into the NWVault Hall Of Fame! Pretty wicked!

Lol! Yea, Lich is definatly not going in Higan. We would have to many boners running around the server.

Anyone know offhand how big the PRC is? Rather, how much it adds to the size of the mod?

i don't know exactly how big it is, but i've been playing the original nwn mods with it and it dosn't seem to increase the lag

Lol! Yea, Lich is definatly not going in Higan. We would have to many boners running around the server. Actually, the Lich is very hard to get, considering the steps involved in becoming it. Ask murdrax, he will tell you exactly how tough it is. It also requires alot of gold, and experience. And you have to remember, gold is not going to be readily available like it is in PoA.

Ok, I did alot of work checking out the prc so i could get an idea how to balance, WOW. I REALLY like this thing, lots of new spells that are already balenced! the new eye candy is awsome too . Also i want to point something out, metamagic dosent effect PRC spells unfortunatly.

I used the PRC with some singleplayer mods. I was keen on the henchman stuff at the time. Whilst promising it seemed to me to that it increased or rather introduced some choppiness on some mods. Not quite our recent "slide show" but enough to be annoying. I uninstalled it but needed to do a complete reinstall (it corrupted my HotU chars - should have read the instructions!)
If it runs smoothly I say yes.
For those of you who haven't used the new classes in P&P, remember most of the new PrCs cost spell casting levels which really bites. Fun though, if less powerful.
