Ok, just doing a recap. So we are going to make it so both servers en up at the same place near the end? That calls for alot of work but i like the idea. For one do you want them able to get all the way through the others server? if not we gotta do some scripting. also we have to have practically the same death systems, and a unique one if the a player dies on the others server, so they go back to thier own. We need about the same xp system, and make sure ours\his charactors dont brutally own ours in equipment or one of the servers may have a BIG problem if they get the stronger equip. Oh, we also need to have the same Hak Paks, unless when the charactors go through the portal to the other server, they crash. I LOVE the idea but that much work just to do it makes me nautious. Im still willing though.

Aye, we already talked about what you just posted. We are planning on stripping all characters of their worldly items before they enter into the Higher Plains. We plan on keeping things at a presise consistency. However, one difference I see already, is that we are planning on using the PRC, while Slayer isn't.

I have yet to be convinced that the size of the PRC won't intrude on the already considerable amount of space I will need to build Awaken. However, that is a very valid issue to bring up if we are to merge vaults for the lvl 40 chars and allow them to mingle, one that hadn't occurred to me

Im still willing though. There won't be a portal between the two mods, Awaken and HG2. There will be a portal at the end of each mod that leads to a new mod for lvl 40 chars. That is how the two can be linked.

the mod merge at lvl 40 sounds like a sweet idea, I for one would love to jump into a world at lvl 40 and have to kick ass from the ground up. And getting to play with some of Slayer's new works is enticing

Ok well once again I should read all post before posting. I think the idea of a merge is great. I dont think of xp as a power lvling server. although if exploit certain areas then yeah you can. I have noticed some that like to solo. Rip you being one of them. So if xp is the same if you solo of group makes me no difference, as long as i get enough xp to move along in fair amount of time.

Yeah, Bull. We were thinking of having the group XP just slightly be higher than that of a Solo player, giving groups an edge: but not one that leaves people who like to solo in the dark.

For my own experiance, I enjoy both the solo and the group play for two entirely different reasons. If I'm looking for XP, I join a group...its the fastest way to advance, and get a preview of areas to explore later. But, to be effective, you have to have the gear, and the best way to do that is to solo....to explore and get loot. Some you keep...some you sell. Some times you wind up a poor newbie in a group of benevolent more experianced players, who know the terrain, and do an even split....but even if there is loot to split....devided 5 or 6 ways, not alot left to spend. So, for me, changing how XP is handed out, based on grouping or not, is just not a factor. I would still play the same way. Now if you added more solo quests that rewarded XP AND Loot....why that would at least make the nessasary solo play even more juicy....
