I'm planning to increase the resell value by 10% or so to help out, gold is a bit too scarce, and the new uses coming for it will be EXPENSIVE. Ritch - there will be no more purges, ever, if I have my way. Welcome back, and sorry for the slow response4, I've been in finals until today. Funky

Can someone say when this new version of HG will be completed? Or even if it's still in the works?
ALSO. . . I really don't think it's a good idea to hinder players being able to party at low levels with other types. Sure, it's good to make it so people can solo, to make the game not entirely party dependent. . . but if you try to keep people from each other, you're just going to have a bunch of mad, frustrated folk. People where making mentions to Diablo. Well, even in Diablo you can party from level one. Also, Diablo gets pretty stale fast, so maybe that's not a good comparison.
Personally, is there a way you can make a helmet -invisible-? Like it looks like your normal head and you're not wearing a helmet? Call it a circlet mode or something. Sometimes I'd rather see my own head than some weird spikey thing.

Sometimes I'd rather see my own head than some weird spikey thing. I would like to second that Idea. I REALLY like this idea. Especially if it WAS a circlet appearance, or headband or something. ...if it is possible. I do find it kind of odd though that you can strip your armor to nothing but not your helmet. Unless I have been crafting incorrectly this whole time.

Can someone say when this new version of HG will be completed? Or even if it's still in the works? It's not in the works, as it says un the next thread up. Before I even came on board as a dm, the DM team had made the rather foolish determiniation that HG was 'broken', and that it would be easier to start over with a new mod. While HG was extremely buggy back then, starting anew would've been 10 times the work. I took over updating when I came on board, and killed the bugs/lag instead. I have not a clue what youre talking about here. 'Other types'? If you are referring to the 6 level party limit, its to prevent superfast powerleveling. Not without a hak. The only hak we use is CEP, to make it easy for people to login. Funky

Eh, ignore the middle part. It was in regard to the now-dead-non-in-the-works-HG-thingy-thing.
HOWEVER.
From an EXP stand point, you couldn't actually make it WORTH going into Nether Caves level 2, could you? It seems if you're going deeper into a cave full of nasty rotting undead things, the lower, darker, and colder it gets, the nastier they would get. Instead, all you get are a few bats that can throw some ice. There's more chests down there, but the loot is pretty pathetic as it is. Perhaps give the zombies a buff on the second level or throw in some shades to keep low level characters from being bored? Same with bandit camp/boat ramp/shadow forest, which are all infested with the same one or two monsters that either throw arrows or axes. Boring. It'd be nice to see more diversity, like in the Hobgoblin mines.
Eh, everyone pays attention to the high level areas. I think the old vanilla PoA lower level ones should be made more interesting, too.

Yup, we do prioritize high level stuff, thats what most of our players seem to want. I have just the thing for those caves, tho. ^^ Have a look next update.
Best, Funky

Now that we have had a change of servers and all the new goodies added...Is there any chance of updating the sage. The old guys knows nothing new.(of course I have only found one new item so I may be wrong) Now....just speculating but wouldn't he know a little bit about some of the new plot items....etc etc? Especially with all those adventures in and out of his house.
Peace Sharyta
