First of all I think your server is great. There are some nice quests many of which still have me stumped because I'm new to the server. I especially like all the bonuses to players who stay one class for the majority or all of their levels. I've played the original map and your server made some big improvements. Definitely more fun than any other sever I've been on and the server has a lot more lasting playing value. Having said that I have some suggestions I think would enrich the experience in the game.
First of all I think you should revamp some of the original quests. For example the staff of anduin isn't a necessary item on this server (as far as I can tell). I don't suggest you relock the doors it used to open but I think you should make the item part of another quest. Make it worth acquiring for all the endless waves of spiders and lostness you have to endure! Maybe a key to a smaller area with a lvl 30 to 35 boss that can get you some basic lvl 35 to 40 eq to make the transition to underdark and other higher level areas more smooth. Something to help you beat the game without making it a necessary item. I also suggest revamping the loot and monsters in Loki area for the same purpose. It used to be a scary area. Now its just an oddity. It already has an item you need to access it. It could be fun again. Beef up the monsters and the loot! Also, I think the Anduin staff itself should be improved too (since it is a pain to get). Maybe make the raise deads...reses and add some affects and bonuses.
Another annoying thing is the hero crystal that you get for the beetle belly (love the hive mother thing) will warp you to its area but not back to town. I think that should be changed.
On another subject. Of all the dragons I have killed in the game I have noticed few actually drop loot on the corpse once the kill has been completed. I think Prissy may be the one exception. You usually get some money. But the server is already money rich, so a handful of cash is a little anti climatic. In most cases its almost worth just looting the rocks or loot bags without killing the dragon and then just leaving. But thats no fun. I suggest you put one or two decent items on each dragon in the game that are suitable for the level of character that might kill the particular dragon in question. Dragons are fun to track down and kill! But, make the kill more than just a kill for the kill sake.
There is also an annoying bug/feature maybe you can fix. Blade barriers keep the party from resting. This is both annoying and makes the game dangerous for little players who are just passing through areas you have bladed. I've killed dozens of players unintentionally and have had to wait for the blades to clear because they just re-die as soon as they move.
