I would probably boost cha, and make str or con penalties, too, or you could get a lot of monk battle builds coming off of it. You don't think the -4 dex is enough to stop that? Str seems like an odd penalty to give a treant. I could just do a no-monk rule for treants.

You forgot the fire vuln Here's something like what I have in mind for UR subraces: Race: Human Subrace: Treant Stats: +5wis, +2con, +2 str, -4 dex Free Feats: Armor Skin, +5spellcraft Vulnerable to Fire: 100% Maybe even more powerful, depending. Be curious to know what the vets/dms think of that one, both specifically and in terms of overall balance. Funky Personally I think its way overpowered especially for clerics. +5 to wisdom is just way to much. You take the base race (human) add +5 wis which starts you with a 23. Dosen't seam like much until you factor in the new LL spell progression. You also factor in the new xp LL system and you have implosion dc's off the chart due to people reaching 60 alot faster. As for druids, they just got a huge revamp with spells and I havent had the chance to really play one since that update, so couldnt honestly say eather way. Thats just my two cents about it but if you wish to keep the +5 to wis maybe you should add a few more thing for example... Race: Human Subrace: Treant Stats: +5 wis, +2 con, +2 str, -4 dex Free Feats: Armor Skin, +5 spellcraft Vulnerable to Fire: 150%, 60% immunity to cold, 100% blud immunity, 100% slashing vunerability. Large class speed (for some reason swinging a warhammer at a tree just dosent sound very effective, but an axe............) I totally disagree, your stats are way off. I would just restrict treant to druid only class if possible. And make a dryad class for cleric and druids to become. Those should be pure class only, kinda like in everquest, that would be cool. If class only, the races should be a tad more powerful. I think it would be a cool thing to have race/class specific thing on this server. I have a Averial being built right now that has +2wis and I know for a fact that her only penalities after this comes out, if it comes out; would be, what I talk about below =) Max wis right now is 62. Max wis with treant or Dryad is 65. So I don't see how that MAJORLY effected anything? Even with my +6 treant, its only 66wis, which is a +28 bonus. Which when most have 70+ spell resistance.

It's a difference of 1 DC, hardly earthshattering, especially since I just nerfed implosion in the spells update. 3 DC. It does have an impact, though, which of course is WHY I nerfed implosion. Funky
