If it is possible just remember like funky said you would do so with substantial losses, i mean you might be 100% immune to all elements and if you dont have mind, death, kd immune or something else when its needed then your immunes dont help do they.

I know I am new, perhaps that brings with it a certian perspective. I came here from a World I helped build from the ground up, we started wiuth an Idea and 4 people, we started with Nordock as our mod WAY back when, while we designed our own. Now as we did this we started saying things like this. Concerns about how power items were taking away from teamwork... how spells and mages were less important to the party because of "Uber Items" and the XP.. well it was just to fast. to make a long story short over 3 years that server was rebuilt 2 times, reached the number one spot on the vault, got admitted to the hall of fame and now... has "Balanced itself to death" the server is lucky to have 3 poeple on it at any time.
NWN became VERY stale to me, I never really wanted to play it anymore, but I tried for my own sake... then in some spare time I found HG while working on my own mod. It reinvented the game for me and showed me that NWN is NOT really a ROLE PLAYING game. its an action game with RP tidbits. Thats what really makes it fun. It IS a treasure hunt, it is a race to get to the top the fastest. taking those things away may make it a more "Pure" Game, or remove fears that it is becoming dull... But I assure you, from someone who spent 3 years making NWN as dull as possible, the exact opposite is true.

I suspect that several players who have created lev 60 chars have managed to build up quite a stash of loot such that the areas are no longer as challenging as they were when they just got thier immortal tag to get to these places. I have noticed that the higher level areas (40+) are quite difficult for solo's or small 3-4 member parties. It is most often the case at 40-45 level range that you see that profile in any particular area (and there aren't many of them). There's the underwater area that works for 30-40 then drow houses for 35-40/(45 'cause immo's are normally needed to help) and then a huge jump in difficulty for the immo run (not really a regular playable area) or the ancient maze. Sure you can do the maze @ 40-45 but not without an organized or well equiped party. For some reason, at the 40-50 point, parties become difficult to put together. I suspect that the reason is that people are often out looting and/or building up their levels in lower areas so that they can build up a character that isn't constantly being killed in the maze or ssithraks. In my experience monster AI is good enough such that a vulnerable character is likely to die alot even in a strong party.
After the maze there is another significant jump in difficulty with the ssithrak area. If you don't have a fair amount of Dachy gear with damage immunities (rare to get) you can't survive without a well organized party unless you're all close to lev 50. This means that your stuck doing the same non-respawning quest (Dachy 'cause that's about all there is at this point) over and over again hoping that you get your choice of items assuming the kind you need even drop.
This problem seems to be unique to the 40-50 level point (I wouldn't know about 50+ because I dont have any char's over 50). And it is compounded by that fact that higher level parties I have noticed are far more restrictive regarding inviting new members. I have on several occasions while in a party running the ssith area heard people complain about other party members inviting 'noobs'. Also since the higher level areas seem to have been created to challenge the more experienced players, if you are not playing with a regular set of party members, it's very hard to survive in these areas. Many players don't want to have to schedule their playing time or have to play through 3 hours straight to complete a long and difficult run. With the lower levels, there are many areas you can solo (at least on the 1st level) or do completely with a small random party, so there is always something fun to do.
I believe it's good to provide challenging areas with uber loot for parties that are well organized, and that exists now. But there is a significant lack of 40-50 areas that can be solo'ed and/or run with small or randomly thrown together parties. If there were more areas like that, then I think there would be alot less 40ish solo loot runners and competion for the maze, and Dachy sprint-a-thons. One could always run these new areas to lev 50 and then try the more difficult 40-50 areas as a solo/small party. The difference being that the loot in the more difficult areas would be more valuable.
If there are lev 60 players on the server that think their uberness has made the game less enjoyable then they could certainly offer some of thier gear to lower level players (instead of hoarding backup items or selling Dachy gear for insane prices which happens alot). Perhaps a guantlet type area with random unpredictable spawns would be more challenging as it would be more difficult to plan for.

However, most of those mean very very low ac, with like may be like 20 to 30% im to physic but delf is saying you can have 100% to 4 element AND 75 to 85 % imm physic can any one confirm this or is he just making number up?

In answer to muttonhead's comment about people complaining about inviting 'noobs' in areas like the Ssithraks I have to say I quite enjoy helping people try out new areas but it does get quite annoying when you have to repeatedly tell people not to hit the kickback creatures unless everybody has their correct gear on. I can't imagine that anybody enjoys a respawn and the chance of losing a nice equipped item? FYI Myself (as Ghostly Gald) and a couple of other mid-50s chars helped a couple of noobs do the entire Ssith barracks and academy the other night with no party wipe (untill the entire accademy repawned on us and I was wearing the wrong ring and not watching my health Doh!). You need to be well coordinated to survive in the Ssithraks and one loner can get you all wiped (unlike the desert where they're just annoying). However if you PM me when you see me and Ssith has not been done (and you can listen to and follow advice) I will attempt to get you in on a run.

You could get 100% elemental immunities using the Quadra, two of the 75%/50% split resistance rings, a shield like Demodin with 2x 25% immunity slots, and harper secret boots which give 25% to all elements.
Also, there is a type of armor that has % elemental resistance to it - two others at 25% if memory serves.
As to the list for physical immunities, see Fusa's outline. They may not completely overlap to have 100%+ bludgeoning immunity and the elementals at the same time, but they also may. And with items going over level 40 soon, to make the new better than the old, I only see that trend increasing. We'll see what actuality brings when it goes live.

Don't forget that there is an ultimate goal instore (in my best guess) that would be better than immortality...otherwise why would we be fighting extremely hard areas and risk loosing items that are very hard to find?

The problem in my eyes with HG right now is loot. Its really hard to get loot unless u go on loot runs. Which takes a couple weeks just to learn where u can go. Or u get lucky on 8-10 people runs that are usually disorganized unless u play with the vets. People who disagree with me are probly well established on the server, have 1-25 banks they can rely on good gear for new characters. They also most likely have the man power (friends) to take on immo area's either by themselves or with another. Why not have a couple area's that level 60's can go, solo, get xp, and loot as it drops off the monsters. Random loot on the monsters instead of having it be in rocks and chest? This would prevent people from doing loot runs and give them more to do after 60+. I'm starting to find the world difficult to function without hardcore dedication, and that is pulling me away now. I like that idea alot -Miles

Don't forget that there is an ultimate goal instore (in my best guess) that would be better than immortality...otherwise why would we be fighting extremely hard areas and risk loosing items that are very hard to find? Because risk makes everything sharper, more realistic, more meaningful, and more fun. An achievement is lessened if it is easy or came at no cost, or no possibility of cost. For risk to be meaningful, there has to be the possibility that you will fail, and for that possibility to be meaningful, it has to be actual. Sometimes, you have to lose in actuality. It makes the success all the sweeter. If something is easy, then everyone can do it, and eventually they won't even be bothered to think about it. When was the last time you honestly concentrated on walking? How about breathing? Chances are, when it was hard to do so. When something is hard, the victory becomes great.

There is risk in reward, but skill plays a big roll in that.
In the power gamer world, you get ahead by three things.
Knowledge, Skill, Friends.
You need all three to be a good player in anything in life thats competetive. I've played baseball for 15+ years, and know a great deal about what it takes to be the best when pressure is on, but this game in no way, takes that type of skill. There is no such thing as someone who knows everything, but knowing a little in alot helps a great deal when pressure is on.

I think dooms is right it is very hard to find someone with this and if u make soemthing that is immun like fusa said there will be substancail things u have to give up for it the other thing is that UR items are meant to be good because they are hard to find and even with the loot up %s for UR and more loot it is still hard exapmle i went on 4 ssith run taht made it to bridge this weekend and only in the last one did we find a UR(studs of rino) but it is still hard to find UR stuff. Not all UR stuff adds stuff soem adds but also takes stuff away and even if u get UR stuff who says it will be wat u need like being a monk and finding meduimlight or a heavy armor. i have also realized that most of the robes dont have much ac i was wonder if there was anything that could be done i have looked and looked and best i haev found is the ones that dachy drops. neganrk
